Privacy Policy for Simple GeoCam Trucker

1. Introduction

Welcome to Simple GeoCam Trucker ("the App"). I am an individual developer based in the Philippines. This Privacy Policy explains how I handle your personal data when you use my App.

I am committed to protecting your privacy. This policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws. Since I do not operate servers for this App, most of your data remains on your device.

2. Data I Collect and How I Use It

I collect minimal data solely to provide the core functionality of the App (taking geo-watermarked photos). I do not operate my own servers, therefore I do not store, process, or have access to your photos or location data on any cloud service owned by me.

A. Camera

• What is collected: Camera input (the photos you take).

• How it is used: To capture a photo and apply a watermark (timestamp, coordinates).

• Storage: The final watermarked photo is saved only to your device's local storage (gallery) . I never upload your photos to any external server.

B. Location (GPS)

• What is collected: Precise GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) from your device.

• How it is used: To embed the coordinates and address (if available) onto your photo watermark. This helps you track where a photo was taken.

• Storage: The location is written directly onto the photo pixels. I do not collect, transmit, or store your location history. The location only exists inside the final photo saved on your device.

C. Device Information (for AdMob & Billing)

• What is collected: AdMob (Google) may collect advertising ID, IP address, device model, Android version, and coarse location for ad targeting.

• How it is used: To serve relevant advertisements and prevent fraudulent clicks.

• Legal Basis (GDPR): Consent (via the cookie/ad consent dialog).

D. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

• What is collected: Google processes payment information. I receive only a confirmation of your purchase (Product ID, Order ID, Timestamp). I do not see your credit card or banking details.

• How it is used: To unlock premium features (if applicable) and track your entitlement.

3. Third-Party Services

This App uses trusted third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies. I do not use Google Analytics or any remarketing tools.

Important Note on AdMob: Google AdMob may use your advertising ID to show personalized ads. Under GDPR requirements, the App will request your consent before loading any ads.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your Photos & Location: Stored exclusively on your personal device. I have no remote access to them.

• Your Purchases: Stored securely by Google Play Services.

• Data Retention: Data on your device remains until you delete the photo or uninstall the App. I retain no data on external servers.

5. Your GDPR Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under GDPR:

1. Right to Access: You can ask what data I hold about you. (Answer: I hold none on my servers).

2. Right to Rectification: You can correct inaccurate data (edit location/photo metadata on your device).

3. Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Delete the App and the photos you took via the App from your device.

4. Right to Withdraw Consent: You can revoke Camera, Location, or Ad permissions at any time via your Android device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. AdMob's policies also prohibit serving personalized ads to children.

I may update this policy occasionally. If changes are significant, I will notify you via the App or email (if you have contacted me). The "Effective Date" at the top will reflect the latest version.
