Vintage Tool ID ("the App") is developed by Super Cloud. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our AI antique tool identification application.
Vintage Tool ID does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:
Camera: Used solely for real-time antique tool identification. Images are processed locally on your device or via secure API calls. We do not store any photos.
Photo Library: Used only when you choose to upload a photo for identification. We do not retain uploaded images.
AI Identification: Tool photos sent to AI providers (Zhipu AI, Qwen, Google Gemini) are used exclusively for identification purposes and are not stored or used for training.
Local Data: Your identification history and saved favorites are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers.
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use the advertising identifier (AD_ID) on your device to serve personalized ads, in accordance with Google's advertising privacy policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. For more information, see Google's Advertising Policy.
The App offers a subscription (Vintage Tool ID Pro) that unlocks unlimited identifications (free users get 3 identifications per day). Subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat and the official app stores (Google Play / Apple App Store). We do not see or store your payment details. Purchase and subscription data is handled according to the respective store's privacy policies. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time through your Google Play / Apple App Store account settings.
All identification history and favorites are stored locally on your device.
Photo data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections when sent to AI providers for identification.
No account or registration is required to use the App.
We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties except as necessary to provide the services described above (advertising, subscriptions, and AI identification).
Vintage Tool ID is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
