Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on the features you use, your permissions, your Device settings, and the technologies and Service Providers integrated into the Application.
3.1 Account and Contact Information
The Application does not require you to register an internal account or sign in.
We do not require you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or account password to create an Application account.
If you voluntarily contact us for support, we may receive your email address, the content of your message, attachments you choose to provide, and other information necessary to respond to your request.
3.2 Subscription and Purchase Information
Subscriptions and purchases are processed through the platform from which you obtained the Application, such as Apple’s App Store.
We may receive limited transaction information from the platform, including:
• Subscription status;
• Product or subscription identifier;
• Purchase or renewal date;
• Subscription expiration date;
• Country or storefront information;
• Transaction identifier;
• Cryptographic receipt or purchase-validation data; and
• Refund, cancellation, billing-retry, or entitlement status.
We use this information to validate purchases, restore subscriptions, unlock premium features, prevent fraud, provide support, and maintain transaction records.
We do not directly collect or store your complete credit card number, security code, bank-account credentials, or Apple Account password. Payment information is handled by the applicable platform under its own terms and privacy policy.
3.3 Usage and Diagnostic Data
When you use the Application, we or our Service Providers may automatically collect limited technical and Usage Data, including:
• Device type and model;
• Operating-system type and version;
• Application version;
• Device or installation identifiers;
• IP address and general network information;
• Language and region settings;
• Features, screens, or tools used;
• Date and time of interactions;
• Duration of feature or screen use;
• Subscription-status events;
• Crash reports;
• Performance information;
• Error logs; and
• Other technical and diagnostic information.
We use this information to operate the Application, understand feature usage, diagnose technical problems, protect the Service, validate subscriptions, and improve performance and usability.
We do not use this information to access your name, email address, or payment credentials unless you separately and voluntarily provide that information, such as when contacting customer support.
3.4 Camera, Photos, and Files
Depending on the features you choose to use, the Application may request permission to access:
• Your Device’s camera;
• Photos or images you select from your photo library;
• PDF files or other documents you select through the system file picker; and
• Local storage required to save or manage documents.
We use this access to provide functions such as:
• Scanning paper documents;
• Automatically detecting and cropping document edges;
• Importing images and files;
• Creating PDF files;
• Editing or annotating PDFs;
• Adding signatures;
• Combining documents;
• Converting files;
• Exporting completed documents; and
• Displaying document history.
The Application accesses only the content you select or capture through the permissions and controls provided by your Device.
You may change or revoke camera, photo-library, or file permissions at any time through your Device settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
3.5 Document Content
Document Content may be processed locally on your Device or transmitted to our servers or a Service Provider’s servers when remote processing is required to provide a selected function.
Remote processing may be used for certain file-conversion, document-processing, synchronization, storage, diagnostic, or related features.
When Document Content is transmitted for processing, we and our Service Providers use it only as necessary to provide the requested function, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or resolve a support request you initiate.
We do not use the text, images, signatures, or contents of your documents for targeted advertising.
Do not upload or process documents unless you have the lawful right and necessary authorization to do so. You are responsible for reviewing documents before sharing, exporting, signing, or submitting them.

To evaluate or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
We will not use information for a materially different purpose without providing any notice or obtaining any consent required by applicable law.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your Personal Data.
We may disclose limited information in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We may share information with Service Providers that assist us with:
• Application hosting and infrastructure;
• Document or file processing;
• File conversion;
• Subscription validation;
• Analytics;
• Crash reporting;
• Security and fraud prevention; and
• Customer support.
Service Providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to us and are expected to maintain protections that are consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
5.2 App Store and Platform Providers
We exchange purchase-validation and Subscription-status information with the platform through which you obtained the Application, such as Apple’s App Store.
The platform independently processes your account and payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.
5.3 Business Transactions
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction. Where required, we will notify you and require the recipient to handle Personal Data in accordance with applicable law.
5.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
• Comply with a legal obligation or valid legal request;
• Protect or enforce our rights;
• Investigate suspected fraud or wrongdoing;
• Protect the security of the Service; or
• Protect the rights, property, or safety of users or others.
5.5 With Your Consent
We may share information for another purpose when you direct us to do so or provide consent.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
6.1 Document Content
Documents stored only on your Device remain there until you delete them, delete the Application, or your Device removes the data.
Document Content sent to a server for remote processing will be retained only for the time reasonably necessary to complete the requested operation, unless a longer period is needed to provide storage or history functionality that you selected, address security issues, comply with law, or respond to a support request.
The exact retention period may depend on the feature used and the applicable Service Provider.
6.2 Subscription Information
Subscription-validation and transaction information may be retained while your Subscription is active and for up to 24 months afterward, or for a longer period where required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, refunds, or legal compliance.
6.3 Usage and Diagnostic Data
Usage statistics, crash information, and technical server logs may be retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or aggregated, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
6.4 Support Communications
Support emails and related records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support history, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies you or your Device.
International Data Transfers
Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries or regions where we or our Service Providers operate.
These locations may have privacy laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of Personal Data.
By using features that require remote processing, you acknowledge that information may be processed outside your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction, subject to applicable legal protections.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your Personal Data, including the right to:
• Request access to Personal Data we maintain about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate Personal Data;
• Request deletion of Personal Data;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
• Receive a portable copy of certain Personal Data.
These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and identity-verification requirements.
Because the Application does not use an internal account system, we may not be able to identify data associated with you unless you provide sufficient information, such as a transaction identifier, support correspondence, Device or installation identifier, or other relevant details.
To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the email address in the “Contact Us” section.
Deleting Data and Revoking Permissions
You can delete locally stored Application data by deleting individual files or history records within the Application, where available, or by deleting the Application from your Device.
Deleting the Application does not cancel an active Subscription. You must manage or cancel your Subscription through your platform account settings, such as Apple’s App Store subscription settings.
You may revoke camera or photo-library access at any time through your Device settings.
To request deletion of information maintained by us, contact us at the email address below. We may retain information when required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Tracking and Advertising
We do not use Document Content for targeted advertising.
If the Application or any integrated third-party technology engages in tracking as defined by Apple or applicable law, we will request any permission required through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework and update our App Store privacy disclosures accordingly.
You may manage tracking permissions through your Device’s privacy settings, where applicable.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You should maintain backups of important documents and protect access to your Device and platform account.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 16.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided Personal Data to us, contact us. If we learn that we collected a child’s Personal Data without legally valid authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Parents and guardians may also use Device-level parental controls and App Store restrictions to manage a child’s access to the Application.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Application may contain links to websites or services that are not operated by us.
If you access a third-party website or service, its own terms and privacy policy will apply. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of unaffiliated third parties.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Application, our practices, legal requirements, or third-party services.
When we make changes, we will post the revised Privacy Policy and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
Your continued use of the Application after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the revised policy, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
