1. Initial Launch Consent

When you install and open the Sky Astro app for the first time, you will be presented with a mandatory popup displaying our Terms of Service and a link to this Privacy Policy. By acknowledging this popup and choosing to continue using the app, you provide your explicit consent to the data and advertising practices described in this document.

2. No Direct Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store your Personal Identifiable Information (PII) on our servers.

• We do not require account creation

• We do not ask for email, phone number, or address

• We do not track your GPS location

3. Astrological and Birth Data (Stored Locally Only)

To provide services like Kundli, Matchmaking, and Numerology, the app allows you to input:

• Name

• Date of Birth

• Time of Birth

• Place of Birth

Strict Protection Clause: All such data is stored and processed only on your device.

• We do NOT upload this data to any server

• We do NOT share, sell, or monetize this data

• We do NOT have access to this data

Data Deletion: You can delete all data anytime by:

• Clearing app data from your device settings

• Uninstalling the app

4. Third-Party Services & Advertising (Google AdMob)

To keep the app free, we use Google AdMob for advertisements. While we do not collect personal data ourselves, AdMob may automatically collect:

• Advertising ID (user-resettable)

• Device information (model, OS version, network)

• IP address

• Ad interaction data

• General usage data

User Consent: By using this app and agreeing to the initial startup popup, you consent to the use of third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob.

Ad Personalization Control:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

5. Permissions

Sky Astro may request:

• Internet / Network Access: Used only for fetching daily astrology content and serving ads via AdMob.

We do NOT request access to:

• Contacts

Camera

• Microphone

• Photo gallery

6. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies or tracking technologies within the app. However, third-party services like AdMob may use tracking technologies as described above.

7. Children’s Privacy

Sky Astro is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. Since all data is stored locally, parents can remove data by clearing the app or uninstalling it.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Updates will be reflected with a new Effective Date. Since we do not collect user contact details, we cannot notify you directly. Please review this page periodically.
