## Summary

Recipe Cost does not collect, transmit, or sell personal information. The recipe you create stays on your device.

## Information we collect

We do not collect personal information.

Recipe Cost has:

- no account

- no sign-in

- no analytics

- no advertising

- no server

We do not receive your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or recipe contents.

## Information stored on your device

When you use the app, it saves the details you type, only in private storage on that device:

- recipe name

- currency symbol

- number of portions

- ingredients you add (emoji, name, quantity, unit, and cost)

This information is not uploaded. It is not shared with the developer or with any third party.

## Copy button

When you tap Copy, the app writes a text summary of your recipe to the device clipboard so you can paste it into another app. Recipe Cost does not read your clipboard. The copied text is not sent anywhere by this app.

## Permissions

Recipe Cost does not ask for location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or tracking permission. Estimating a recipe does not require an internet connection.

## Children

Recipe Cost is a general-audience utility. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

## Data retention and deletion

You can edit or delete any ingredient in the app. Uninstalling Recipe Cost removes the recipe stored by the app on that device.

## Security

Recipe details remain in the app’s private storage on your device. Protect the device with a lock screen if those details are sensitive to you.

## Third parties

We do not share data with third parties, because the app does not send us data. Recipe Cost does not include advertising or analytics services.

## App Store privacy answer

In App Store Connect, under App Privacy, select Data Not Collected.

## Changes

If this policy changes, the updated text will replace this version and the effective date above will change.
