HomeMate is a home organizer and reminder app developed by Vinisha. This Privacy Policy explains how HomeMate handles user data.
HomeMate is designed to work mainly on your device. The app does not require account creation or login.
The app may store the following information locally on your device when you enter it:
Tasks and reminders
Bills and payment reminders
Grocery and pantry items
Shared expense details
Document details and expiry reminders
Cleaning tasks
Medicine schedules and dose reminders
Appliance service reminders
Routine items
Inventory items
Emergency contact details entered by the user
App settings such as theme, language, reminder sound, and preferences
This information is used only to provide the app’s features.
Most HomeMate data is stored locally on your device. The developer does not receive, view, or store your personal home data on a server.
If you delete the app or clear app data, locally saved information may be deleted from your device.
HomeMate may allow users to export or share backup files, reports, summaries, or reminders. These actions are controlled by the user.
When you share or export data, the selected information may be handled by the apps or services you choose, such as email, messaging apps, cloud storage, or file managers.
HomeMate may request the following permissions depending on the features you use:
Notifications: to show reminder alerts.
Microphone: for voice quick-add features, only when you use voice input.
Storage or document access: to attach or open user-selected files such as receipts or documents.
Vibration: to vibrate for reminder alerts.
Foreground service: to keep reminder alerts active until stopped or snoozed.
Internet and network access: to load ads and related services.
Permissions are used only for app features selected by the user.
HomeMate may show ads using Google AdMob or similar advertising services.
Ad services may collect or process certain information such as device identifiers, advertising ID, app interactions, approximate location, and diagnostic data to show ads, prevent fraud, measure performance, and improve ad quality.
Users can manage ad personalization from their device or Google account settings.
HomeMate is not intended for children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
HomeMate does not sell user data.
The app may share limited data with third-party services only when required for app functionality, such as advertising services, crash prevention, device services, or when the user chooses to share/export data.
HomeMate is designed to keep user-entered home data on the device. Users should protect their device with a screen lock and keep backup files secure.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we aim to use reasonable safeguards for the app’s local data handling.
Users can delete their data by:
Deleting items inside the app
Using any available clear/delete data option inside the app
Clearing app storage from Android settings
Uninstalling the app
