# Privacy Policy for DEWater Tracker

This policy covers the DEWater Tracker mobile app distributed on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

DEWater Tracker is a personal log of water bottles you say you used. It is not a health, medical, or hydration service.

## Summary

DEWater Tracker does not collect, sell, or upload your information. The notes you type stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

## Information you enter

If you choose to log a bottle, the app stores these details on the device:

- an emoji you pick

- a name you type

- how many bottles

- an optional note

- the date and time you set

The app starts empty. It does not create sample logs, an account, or a profile.

## Information the app does not collect

DEWater Tracker does not collect:

- your name, email address, phone number, or contacts

- precise or coarse location

- photos, camera, or microphone recordings

- health, fitness, or medical data

- advertising identifiers

- analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics sent to a server

- payment information

The app does not ask you to sign in. It does not include advertising.

## Where data is stored

Logs are saved in local app storage on your phone or tablet. They are not sent to the developer and they are not stored in a cloud account operated by this app.

## Copy and share

Copy places the text of the log you are viewing on the device clipboard so you can paste it somewhere else. The app does not read other clipboard contents.

Share opens the system share sheet with that same text, and only after you tap Share. The operating system then sends the text to the app you pick, such as Messages or Mail. DEWater Tracker does not receive a copy of that choice and does not run its own server for sharing.

## Permissions

The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or tracking permission to do its job. Sharing uses the system share sheet that the operating system provides.

## Children

DEWater Tracker is not directed at children under 13, and it is not directed at children under the age required by local law. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child entered information in the app can delete those entries in the app or delete the app.

## How long data stays

Entries remain on the device until you delete them inside the app or you uninstall DEWater Tracker. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage from the device, subject to your operating system’s backup behavior. The developer cannot delete on-device logs remotely because the developer does not receive them.

## Security

Logs stay in the app’s private storage, which the operating system protects from other apps. No account password is used because there is no account. Because data is not transmitted to a developer server, there is no developer transmission to encrypt.

## Third parties

DEWater Tracker does not sell personal information and does not share it for advertising or tracking.

The only time text leaves the app is when you use the system clipboard or the system share sheet. Those features are provided by Apple or Google and by any app you choose. Their own privacy policies apply to what you do after you leave DEWater Tracker.

## Your choices

You can:

- add, edit, or delete any bottle entry

- copy or share text only when you tap those controls

- uninstall the app to remove its local data from the device

## Store privacy labels

Google Play Data safety: the app does not collect or share the user data types in the Data safety form. Users can delete entries in the app. Uninstalling deletes the remaining local data.

Apple App Privacy: Data Not Collected. The app does not track you and does not link data to your identity.

## Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted with a new effective date on the store listing for DEWater Tracker. Continued use of the app after the update means the new policy applies to information stored from that point forward.
