Zephyrcade Co., Limited ("Zephyrcade," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Critopia mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App and describes the choices and rights that may be available to you.
## 1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Critopia and to communications you send us about the App. It does not govern third-party websites, applications, advertisements, or services that operate under their own privacy policies.
## 2. Information handled by the App
### 2.1 Local game data
The App stores your best score in local storage on your device so that it can be displayed during later game sessions. Critopia does not provide an account, social login, cloud save, leaderboard, chat, or user-content upload feature.
Android's backup and restore features may back up or restore local App data, depending on your device, Google account, and system settings. Zephyrcade does not operate a separate server for Critopia game progress.
### 2.2 Advertising, consent, and measurement data
Critopia is supported by advertising. The App uses Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, Meta Audience Network components, and Meta/Facebook App Events. These services may automatically collect, receive, or process information such as:
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate a general location;
- advertising identifiers, app-scoped identifiers, and other device or account identifiers;
- device model, operating system, language, network, and App information;
- App and advertisement interactions, including App launches, taps, ad requests, impressions, clicks, and related events;
- diagnostic, crash, performance, and advertising-delivery information;
- install-referrer and attribution information; and
- consent choices and related privacy signals.
The App requests consent information through Google's User Messaging Platform. Where required, an advertising consent message is presented before advertising services are enabled. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and partner configuration, the ads you receive may be personalized or non-personalized.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK states that it automatically collects and shares IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Meta services may process App activation, installation, attribution, advertising, and interaction events after the applicable consent process permits advertising services to operate.
### 2.3 Communications with us
If you contact us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your request, provide support, and maintain appropriate records.
### 2.4 Information the App does not request
Critopia does not request permission to access your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, videos, or files. The App does not provide account registration or in-app purchases and does not ask you to submit payment-card information.
## 3. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- provide and maintain the App;
- save and display local game progress;
- request, deliver, measure, and limit the frequency of advertisements;
- obtain and respect applicable advertising-consent choices;
- measure App activation, installation, advertising, and interaction events;
- diagnose technical problems and improve reliability;
- detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and invalid advertising traffic;
- respond to support, privacy, and legal requests; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
## 4. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information is processed on one or more of the following bases:
- **Consent:** for personalized advertising, advertising identifiers, or similar processing where consent is required. You may withdraw consent through available consent controls, but withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
- **Performance of a service requested by you:** to provide the game and its local features.
- **Legitimate interests:** to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App; prevent fraud and invalid traffic; and provide non-personalized or contextual advertising where permitted.
- **Legal obligations:** to comply with law, enforce rights, and respond to lawful requests.
## 5. How information is disclosed
Information may be disclosed to:
- **Google**, which provides Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform;
- **Meta**, which provides Meta Audience Network and Meta/Facebook App Events;
- **platform and device providers**, including Android or Google backup and restore services when enabled by you;
- **professional advisers and service providers** that help us operate, secure, or support the App, subject to appropriate obligations;
- **authorities or other parties** when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or respond to lawful requests; and
- **a successor organization** in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or transfer of the App or related business assets.
We do not exchange personal information for money. However, some privacy laws may define certain advertising disclosures as a "sale," "sharing," or use for "targeted advertising," even when no money is exchanged. Where such laws apply, you may have the choices described in Section 9.
## 6. Third-party privacy information
Third-party services process information under their own policies and settings. You can review their information here:

Zephyrcade does not control third-party retention periods or all processing performed independently by these providers.
## 7. International processing
Google, Meta, and other service providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. Where required, information is transferred using safeguards recognized by applicable law or through other lawful transfer mechanisms.
## 8. Retention and deletion
Your best score remains in local App storage until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App. Android backup may retain or later restore a copy according to your device and Google account settings.
We retain support and privacy communications only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, protect the App, and comply with legal obligations. Advertising and measurement providers retain information according to their own policies and configurations.
Because Critopia has no user account or Zephyrcade-operated cloud save, there is no Critopia account to delete. You may delete local game data by clearing the App's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the App. You may contact us at dev@zephyrcade.com regarding information controlled by Zephyrcade. We may not be able to identify or delete information controlled independently by Google, Meta, your device provider, or your platform account.
## 9. Your choices
Depending on your device, region, and applicable law, you may be able to:
- use the controls shown in an advertising consent or privacy message presented by the App;
- reset or delete the advertising identifier, or manage advertising settings, through Android or your Google account;
- manage Android backup and restore settings;
- clear Critopia's local storage or uninstall the App; and
- contact us to exercise an applicable privacy right.
Refusing or withdrawing consent for personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising or data processing. Limited information may still be processed to provide contextual ads, record consent, limit ad frequency, measure aggregate performance, prevent fraud, maintain security, or comply with law where permitted.
## 10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information controlled by Zephyrcade. You may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing as those terms are defined by applicable law.
To submit a request, email dev@zephyrcade.com and describe the request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and process it. You may also have the right to complain to a competent privacy or data-protection authority.
## 11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled by us. Third-party providers maintain their own security measures. No transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## 12. Children
Critopia is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If you are under the age at which you can legally consent to data processing in your country or region, you should use the App only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian where required. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact dev@zephyrcade.com so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.
## 13. Third-party advertisements and links
Advertisements may link to third-party applications, stores, or websites. Zephyrcade does not control those third parties, their content, or their privacy practices. Review the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies before interacting with them or providing information.
## 14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable requirements. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
