Clevara is designed to help users understand, review, organize, compress, and remove accessible files stored on their Android devices. This Privacy Policy explains what information Clevara accesses, how that information is processed, when information may be handled by third-party services, and the choices available to users.
By installing or using Phone Cleaner Storage Manage , you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Privacy Summary
Clevara is designed around local, on-device processing.
The core storage-management features do not require a Clevara account or a custom Clevara server. Files, images, scan results, notification content, battery information, and cleaning history are processed locally on the user’s device unless the user deliberately shares information through another application.
Clevara does not sell users’ personal information.
Clevara contains advertising provided through Google Mobile Ads. Google and its advertising services may process certain device, advertising, diagnostic, and interaction information as explained below.
2. Information Processed Locally
Clevara may access or process the following information locally when required to provide a feature selected by the user.
2.1 Files and Storage Information
Clevara may process information about files that the user permits the application to access, including:
- File names.
- File sizes.
- File types and MIME types.
- File creation or modification dates.
- Storage locations or content URIs.
- Media dimensions and durations.
- Thumbnails.
- Duplicate-file fingerprints or cryptographic hashes.
- Whether a file is readable, removable, or accessible.
This information is used to provide features such as:
- Storage scanning.
- Large-file detection.
- Exact duplicate detection.
- Download management.
- APK file management.
- File selection and deletion.
- Storage usage summaries.
- Cleaning-history summaries.
File contents, file names, duplicate hashes, and storage scan results are not uploaded to a Clevara server.
2.2 Images Selected for Compression
When the user selects one or more images for compression, Clevara may locally read and process:
- The selected image.
- Its dimensions.
- File size.
- Format.
- Orientation and supported metadata.
- User-selected compression preferences.
Image processing occurs on the device. Clevara does not upload selected images to a Clevara server.
Compressed images are saved only after a user-initiated action. Original images are not deleted automatically. Any deletion or replacement requires clear user confirmation.
2.3 Notification Information
Clevara may offer an optional Notification Cleaner feature.
If the user voluntarily enables Android Notification Access, Clevara may access information about active notifications, including:
- The application that posted the notification.
- Notification title or summary when available.
- Notification time.
- Notification status.
- Whether Android permits the notification to be dismissed.
Notification information is used only to display and dismiss notifications selected by the user.
Clevara does not upload notification content to a Clevara server, does not use notification content for advertising targeting, and does not permanently store private notification text.
Notification Access is optional and can be disabled at any time through Android system settings.
2.4 Battery and Device Status
Clevara may locally process device information made available by Android, including:
- Battery percentage.
- Charging status.
- Charging source.
- Battery temperature, voltage, technology, or health status when available.
- Power-saving mode status.
- Android version.
- Device model for user-reviewed support messages.
Battery information is used to display device status and provide reminders enabled by the user.
Clevara does not claim to repair, improve, or change the physical health of the battery.
2.5 Installed Application Information
The App Manager feature may access limited information about applications that Android permits Clevara to discover, including:
- Application name.
- Application icon.
- Package name.
- Installation or update date when available.
- Whether an application can be launched.
- Information required to open Android’s official application information or uninstall screen.
Clevara does not silently uninstall applications and does not attempt to force-stop other applications.
If the user voluntarily enables Android Usage Access, Clevara may display usage-related information made available by Android, such as last-used time or application usage duration.
Usage Access is optional and may be revoked through Android system settings.
2.6 Local Settings and History
Clevara may store the following information locally on the device:
- Theme and appearance settings.
- Onboarding completion status.
- Selected folders.
- Scan preferences.
- File-size thresholds.
- Reminder preferences.
- Consent status provided through applicable privacy tools.
- Previous scan summaries.
- Cleaning operation summaries.
- Cached file fingerprints used to avoid unnecessary duplicate processing.
Local history may contain the number of processed files and the amount of storage removed or saved. Clevara is designed to avoid retaining unnecessary private file content.
This local information can be removed by clearing Clevara’s application data or uninstalling the application.
3. Information Provided Voluntarily
Clevara does not require account registration.
If the user contacts support by email, the developer may receive information voluntarily included in the message, such as:
- The user’s email address.
- The message subject and content.
- Screenshots or attachments deliberately included by the user.
- Device or application information the user chooses to provide.
Support information is used only to respond to the request, investigate reported issues, prevent abuse, or maintain support records.
Users should avoid sending passwords, payment information, government identification, or other unnecessary sensitive information through support email.
4. Advertising and Third-Party Data Processing
Clevara uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertising, including:
- Banner advertisements.
- Interstitial advertisements.
- Native advertisements.
Google Mobile Ads and related Google services may automatically collect or process information such as:
- Internet Protocol address.
- Advertising identifiers.
- App Set ID or similar device and account identifiers where applicable.
- Application launches.
- Advertisement impressions, taps, and interactions.
- Device and application information.
- Diagnostic and performance information.
- General location inferred from an IP address.
- Information used to detect fraud, abuse, or invalid advertising activity.
This information may be used by Google for:
- Delivering advertisements.
- Personalized or non-personalized advertising, depending on consent and applicable law.
- Advertisement measurement and reporting.
- Analytics related to advertisement performance.

Clevara does not request precise location permission and does not intentionally provide precise GPS location to advertising services.

Clevara currently does not use a separate custom analytics server, Firebase Analytics, user accounts, or cloud-based storage scanning unless this Privacy Policy is updated to disclose such changes.
5. Privacy Choices and Consent
Clevara may use Google’s User Messaging Platform to request or manage privacy choices when required by the user’s location and applicable laws.
Depending on the region and the user’s choices, Google may provide:
- Personalized advertisements.
- Non-personalized advertisements.
- Limited advertisements.
- Technical advertisement delivery.
Where required, Clevara provides a privacy-options entry within the application so the user can review or update available advertising choices.
The availability and effect of each choice may depend on applicable law, Google’s advertising systems, the user’s device settings, and the user’s region.
6. Permissions and Special Access
Clevara requests access only when it is reasonably necessary for a user-selected feature.
Depending on the Android version and enabled features, Clevara may request or direct the user to grant:
Storage, media, or folder access:
Used to scan, display, compress, organize, or delete files selected or made accessible by the user.
Photo Picker access:
Used to allow the user to select specific images without granting unnecessary broad access.
Notification permission:
Used to display optional battery, charging, or application reminders.
Notification Access:
Used only for the optional Notification Cleaner feature.
Usage Access:
Used only for optional application-usage information when the user chooses to enable it.
Internet and network-state access:
Used primarily to load advertisements, manage advertising consent, and open external support or policy pages.
Audio output:
Used by the Speaker Cleaner feature to play user-initiated sound patterns. Clevara does not require microphone access for this feature.
Clevara does not require access to contacts, SMS messages, call logs, telephone calls, microphone recordings, camera capture, or precise location for its planned core functionality.
The application remains usable when optional permissions are denied, although the related feature may be limited or unavailable.
7. File Deletion and User Control
Clevara does not intentionally delete personal files without user action.
Before removing user files, Clevara is designed to:
- Display the selected files or category.
- Display the selected item count.
- Display the estimated total size.
- Request user confirmation.
- Use Android system confirmation when required.
- Report successful and failed operations honestly.
Some Android versions may move eligible media to the system trash instead of deleting it immediately.
Clevara does not guarantee that every file can be removed because Android, device manufacturers, removable storage, access permissions, or other applications may restrict deletion.
8. Information Sharing
Clevara does not sell personal or sensitive user information.
Clevara does not share file contents, file names, notification content, duplicate hashes, battery readings, or local cleaning history with the developer for advertising purposes.
Information may be processed or shared in the following limited circumstances:
Google advertising services:
Google may process advertising, device, interaction, diagnostic, consent, and fraud-prevention information as described in this Privacy Policy.
User-directed actions:
Information may be shared when the user deliberately chooses to open, share, install, export, or send a file through another application.
Support requests:
Information is shared with the user’s chosen email provider and the developer when the user deliberately sends a support message.
Legal requirements:
Information actually held by the developer may be disclosed when reasonably required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
9.1 Locally Stored Information
Settings, scan metadata, cleaning history, cached fingerprints, and other local application information remain on the device until:
- The user clears the relevant history within Clevara.
- The user clears Clevara’s application storage through Android settings.
- The information is replaced or expired by the application.
- The user uninstalls Clevara.
9.2 Support Communications
Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the user, investigate an issue, maintain support records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

9.3 Advertising Information
Information processed by Google Mobile Ads is retained according to Google’s applicable policies and the user’s available advertising or privacy settings.
Clevara does not directly control all information retained by third-party advertising services.
9.4 Account Deletion
Clevara does not provide or require a Clevara user account. Therefore, there is no Clevara cloud account to delete.
Users can remove local Clevara information by clearing application data or uninstalling the application.
10. Data Security
Clevara uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by the application.
These measures include:
- Processing core file information locally.
- Using Android permission and scoped-storage mechanisms.
- Requesting access in the context of the relevant feature.
- Avoiding unnecessary storage of private notification content.
- Using content URIs instead of unnecessarily exposing raw file paths.
- Limiting access to information required for application functionality.
- Using encrypted network connections where supported by third-party services.
No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should maintain device security, install operating-system updates, and review application permissions regularly.
11. User Choices
Users may:
- Decline optional Android permissions.
- Revoke previously granted permissions through Android settings.
- Disable Notification Access.
- Disable Usage Access.
- Disable Clevara reminders.
- Review available advertising privacy options.
- Reset or delete the Android advertising identifier through supported device settings.
- Clear Clevara’s local history.
- Clear all Clevara application data.
- Uninstall Clevara.
- Contact the developer regarding privacy questions or support data.
Revoking access may prevent the related feature from functioning but should not prevent use of unrelated features.
12. Children’s Privacy
Clevara is a general storage-management utility and is not designed or directed specifically toward children under the age of 13 or the minimum age required by applicable local law.
The developer does not knowingly request children to submit personal information directly to Clevara.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has voluntarily provided personal information through a support communication, they may contact the developer to request review and deletion.
13. Third-Party Applications and Links
Clevara may open:
- Android system settings.
- Google Play.
- An email application.
- File viewers.
- Media players.
- The Android package installer.
- External privacy-policy or support pages.
Clevara is not responsible for the privacy practices, availability, security, or content of independent third-party applications or websites.
Users should review the privacy policies of third-party services they choose to use.
14. International Processing
Third-party service providers, including Google advertising services, may process information in countries other than the user’s country.
Such processing is governed by the third party’s applicable privacy terms, safeguards, and legal obligations.
Core Clevara file scanning and cleaning functionality is designed to take place locally on the user’s Android device.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Clevara’s features, permissions, legal obligations, or third-party services change.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Where appropriate, additional notice may be provided inside the application.
Users should review this Privacy Policy periodically.
