Flirty ("we," "our," or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

We may collect your name and email address when you sign in with Apple or Google. You may also use the app in Guest Mode without creating an account, in which case no personal information is collected.

Conversation and Profile Screenshots

When you upload a screenshot of a dating conversation or a dating profile, or type conversation text manually, this data is sent to our servers for AI processing. Specifically, the following data may be sent:

• Screenshots of dating app conversations (images)

• Screenshots of dating profiles (images containing photos, bios, prompts, and interests)

• Text you type manually describing a conversation or profile

• Your selected tone/style preference for the generated suggestions

• Your chosen app language

This data is sent to our backend servers (hosted on Google Cloud via Firebase Cloud Functions), which then forwards it to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) for processing using their GPT-4 model. OpenAI processes this data solely to generate suggested replies or opening lines and does not use it to train their models.

We do not use your screenshots or text for any purpose other than producing AI-generated suggestions.

Non-Personal Information

We may collect usage data such as:

• Number of analyses performed

• Types of features used (chat replies, profile openers)

• Device type

• App interactions

This data helps us improve and optimize the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

• Generate AI-powered chat reply suggestions from conversation screenshots

• Generate personalized opening lines from dating profile screenshots

• Process and analyze images for accurate AI results

• Improve app accuracy, performance, and features

• Enhance user experience

Screenshots and text are used exclusively to generate suggestions and are never used for advertising, tracking, or identity purposes.

To perform this analysis, your screenshots and optional text descriptions are sent to our secure backend (Firebase Cloud Functions on Google Cloud), which forwards them to OpenAI's GPT-4 for processing. OpenAI processes the data solely to generate suggestions, does not store your images or text beyond the duration of the request, and does not use your data to train their AI models. 3. Image Processing and Retention

Storage of Screenshots

Screenshots are processed temporarily to perform AI analysis. We do not permanently store your images on our servers. After analysis is completed, image data is deleted automatically.

Retention Period

Screenshots are retained only for the duration necessary to complete the analysis and are then permanently deleted.

Local Storage

Generated suggestions, conversation history, and profile opener results are stored locally on your device only. You can delete them at any time from the app.

4. Data Sharing

Data Sharing with Third-Party AI Service

Screenshots and text data are sent to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., San Francisco, CA, USA) via their API to generate AI-powered suggestions. Specifically:

• What is sent: Screenshot images, manually typed conversation/profile text, tone preferences, and language selection

• Who receives it: OpenAI, through their API service, for processing by GPT-4

• How it is used: Solely to generate chat reply suggestions or profile opening lines

• Data retention by OpenAI: OpenAI does not retain API input or output data beyond 30 days (for abuse monitoring only) and does not use API data to train their models

• OpenAI does not receive ownership of the data

• OpenAI is not permitted to sell or use your data for advertising

Profile Information Storage

We use secure cloud storage services (Firebase) to store profile information safely.

Subscription Management

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment details.

No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or share image data or personal data with advertisers.

5. Children's Privacy

Flirty is intended for users 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data, we will promptly delete it.

6. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
