To provide expenditure tracking, the app requires access to your SMS, Call log, Location Data.
What we read: The app scans SMS messages from financial institutions (banks, credit cards, etc.) to identify transaction alerts.
Purpose: To automatically categorize and display your spending habits.
Local Processing: All reading and analysis of SMS data happens entirely on your device. ### 3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: All processed expenditure data is stored in a local database on your mobile device.
No Cloud Sync: We do not use cloud storage. If you uninstall the app or lose your device, we cannot recover your data as we never had access to it.
No Third-Party Sharing: Since your data never leaves your device, it is never sold, traded, or shared with third parties.
The app will explicitly ask for the READ_SMS , Location, Contact permission. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings, though the app will cease to function as intended.
Our services are designed for a general audience and can be used by individuals of all ages. Because Expense Tracker processes all data locally on your device and does not transmit any information to external servers, we do not collect, store, or share personally identifiable information from any user, including children. We are committed to providing a private and secure environment for all our users.
