Divexa (“the App”) is a bill-splitting and shared-expense calculation application designed to help users divide bills, tips, taxes, fees, and other shared expenses.

We respect your privacy and have designed Divexa to work with minimal data usage.

1. Information We Collect

Divexa does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information with the developer or external servers.

The App does not require users to create an account, provide an email address, phone number, name, location, or other personally identifiable information.

Information entered into Divexa, such as:

Bill amounts

Participant names

Tips

Taxes

Fees

Selected currency

Split percentages or amounts

Saved split history

App preferences

is stored locally on your device and is used only to provide the App's functionality.

This information is not transmitted to us.

2. Financial Information

Divexa is a calculation tool only.

The App does not connect to bank accounts, payment cards, digital wallets, or financial institutions.

Divexa does not process payments and does not collect credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial credentials.

Amounts entered into the App are used solely for bill and expense calculations.

3. Local Data Storage

Divexa may store information locally on your device so that features such as split history, default currency, tip preferences, theme settings, and other preferences continue to work between sessions.

This information remains on your device unless you choose to remove it.

You can delete saved split information from within the App where the relevant deletion option is available.

You may also remove locally stored App data through your device settings or by uninstalling Divexa.

4. Sharing Split Results

Divexa includes a feature that allows users to share bill-splitting results using Android's system sharing interface.

When you choose to share a result, the selected information is passed to the application or service you choose through the Android sharing system.

Divexa does not control how third-party applications process information after you choose to share it.

Please review the privacy policy of the application or service with which you choose to share information.

5. Permissions

Divexa is designed to operate without unnecessary access to sensitive information.

The App does not require access to your:

Contacts

Precise location

Photos or videos

Microphone

Camera

SMS messages

Call logs

Calendar

If future versions of Divexa require additional permissions for new features, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

6. Analytics and Advertising

The current version of Divexa does not use third-party advertising services or analytics services to collect user data.

We do not create advertising profiles or track users across other applications or websites.

If analytics, advertising, or other third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or alongside those changes.

7. Data Sharing

Because Divexa does not collect personal data on developer-controlled servers, we do not sell or provide your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Locally stored information remains under your control on your device.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Divexa does not maintain a remote database containing your bill calculations or participant information.

Locally saved information remains on your device until you:

Delete individual saved splits

Clear App data through Android settings

Use an available in-app history deletion feature

Uninstall Divexa

After local App data is removed, we do not maintain a server-side copy.

9. Children's Privacy

Divexa is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because the App does not require accounts or transmit user-entered personal information to us, no child profile is created by the developer.

10. Security

Divexa minimizes privacy risks by keeping its core user data locally on the device rather than transmitting it to developer-controlled servers.

However, no device or software environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should maintain appropriate security on their devices, including device locks and operating system security updates.

11. Third-Party Services

Certain actions initiated by the user, such as sharing a split result, may open third-party applications installed on the device.

Those third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Divexa is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party applications selected by the user.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Divexa's functionality, data practices, or legal requirements change.

Any updates will be reflected by changing the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
