Welcome to Dark Widgets ("App", "we", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android application available on the Google Play Store.

Dark Widgets is designed with a privacy-first approach. We collect minimal data:

We DO use:
Device Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob to show relevant ads (free users only)
App usage data — used by AdMob to improve ad relevance
Purchase confirmation — Google Play confirms your premium purchase status (we never see your payment details)
All app data is stored locally on your device only, including:
Widget preferences and settings
Selected accent colors
Clock format preference
Weather city preference
Premium unlock status
This data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your personal data.
The free version of Dark Widgets displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob.
Google AdMob may collect and use the following to show relevant ads:
Android Advertising ID (AAID)
General location (country/region level only)
App interaction data
How to opt out of personalized ads: Go to your device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Premium users enjoy a completely ad-free experience.

Dark Widgets offers premium subscriptions and one-time purchases:
3-Month Premium — $1.00
Yearly Premium — $2.49
Lifetime Premium — $4.99
All purchases are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We only receive a confirmation of your purchase status — we never have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.
To manage or cancel subscriptions, go to: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions
If you use Weather Widgets and enter a city name, that city name is sent to OpenWeatherMap (openweathermap.org) to fetch current weather data.
We do not store your city preference on any server
Your city is saved only locally on your device

Our Android home screen widgets access the following device data locally:
System time — to display clock widgets
Battery level — to display battery widgets
Step count — to display step counter widgets (if available)
This data is read directly from your device and is never transmitted externally.
