At Belal, developed by Mohamed Belal, we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may use, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
The Belal app does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, phone number, or password.
The app may use your device's location when you choose to use prayer times or Qibla direction based on your current location. Location data is used to calculate prayer times and determine the Qibla direction. Location coordinates and related preferences are stored locally on your device. You can deny location permission or manually select a location within the app.
The app may store certain preferences and content locally on your device, such as dark mode settings, saved Quran positions, favorites, and progress in certain features. We do not sell this data or use it to create an advertising profile about you.
The app uses third-party services to provide certain features, such as loading Quran recitations, retrieving some reciter or radio station information, and accessing certain audio content or interpretations.
When connecting to these services, the third-party provider may receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, device type, and request time, in accordance with its own privacy policies.
Belal does not control the privacy practices of these third-party services. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of the relevant third parties when necessary.
The app is free and does not contain advertisements. We do not sell user data or share personal information with advertising companies.
We aim to minimize the data used to what is necessary to operate the app's features. We do not maintain a user account database within the app. Data stored locally remains under the control of your device's operating system and local storage mechanisms.
The app is not designed to collect personal information from children and does not require an account or ask users to provide personal information.
If you become aware that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can delete it, if any such information exists.
We may update this Privacy Policy when new features are added or when the way the app operates changes. Any updated version will be published at the same link with an updated effective date.
