3. Permissions Used by Audio Edit Lab: Music Cutter
To provide audio editing, trimming, cutting, video-to-audio conversion / audio extraction, and audio exporting services, the App requires access to certain device features and storage:
Read Storage / Media Audio & Video (Read External Storage / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO): Allows the App to scan, browse, and load audio files and selected video files stored on your device so you can cut, edit, or extract audio tracks from video files.
Write / Modify Storage (Write External Storage): Allows the App to save, export, and manage your edited audio tracks, extracted audio clips, and cut music clips locally on your device.
Notifications: Used to deliver alerts when background audio rendering, video extraction, or converting tasks are completed.
Note: All audio processing, editing, and video-to-audio extraction occur locally on your device. We do not upload, listen to, scan, or store your personal video or audio files on external servers.
4. How We Use Collected Information
We utilize the collected information for the following specific purposes:
1. To provide core editing and conversion functions: Processing, cutting, mixing, extracting audio from video files, and saving your audio files reliably.
2. To personalize user experience: Remembering user preferences, project settings, and app configurations.
3. To maintain and optimize app performance: Troubleshooting bugs, analyzing crash traces, and improving app stability.
4. To develop and update services: Designing new audio editing tools, effects, and features based on aggregated analytics.
5. To serve advertisements: Displaying relevant ads through authorized third-party ad networks to keep the App free to use.

We integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) for analytics and advertising. Our partners include, but are not limited to:

Managing Advertising Preferences:

iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Personalized Ads (turn off).

We do not sell personal details such as your name, email, or edited audio files. However, sharing device identifiers and coarse location with third-party ad networks may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state laws (such as CCPA).

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Feedback and Customer Support Messages: Retained for up to 12 months following resolution.
