- Local storage: User preferences (selected language, feature toggle status) are saved and stored locally on your device using the Chrome browser's storage (Chrome Storage API).
- No remote storage: The text fragments sent for translation are not saved, logged, or stored by us or any of our databases at any time.

- Third-party services (Google Translate API): Due to the nature of the service, the text requiring translation is transmitted securely, without any user-identifying data, directly from your browser to the Google Translate API (host: https://translate.googleapis.com/*) to retrieve the translation. The processing of these requests by Google is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
- Legal requirements: We do not share data with any other entities unless strictly required to do so by applicable law.

- You can delete your locally stored preferences at any time by uninstalling the Extension from your browser.
