Serenity Journal is a simple offline journaling and mood-tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data and what information is stored on your device.
Serenity Journal does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to external servers.
All data is saved locally on your device, including:
Journal entries (text, mood, date, tags)
Categories you create
App settings and preferences
We do not have access to this data and cannot view or retrieve it.
The App stores all information using your device’s internal storage systems (such as local storage inside the App’s WebView).
Because data is stored only on your device:
We cannot recover your entries if they are lost
Uninstalling the App or clearing its data may permanently delete your content
No data is sent to external databases or servers
Serenity Journal is designed to be lightweight and privacy-friendly.
The App:
Does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as contacts, photos, microphone, or location
Does not require account creation or login
Any basic system permissions used by the App are required only for standard functionality.
Serenity Journal is intended for a general audience.
Because the App does not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect data from children.
You maintain full control over your data.
Within the App, you can:
Create, edit, and delete entries
Add or remove categories
Filter entries based on categories
Clear your data manually at any time
All actions affect only the data stored locally on your device.

The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates the most recent version.
