Effective Date: September 16, 2026
Last Updated: September 16, 2026
Phone Dialer: Contact Manager ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of our users ("you" or "user"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Android application Phone Dialer: Contact Manager (the "App").
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By installing and using this App, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
To provide core phone calling, contact management, caller ID, and call organization features, our App accesses certain device permissions. All core personal data (contacts, call logs, private vault files) is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded or sold to external servers.
A. Contacts Information (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS, GET_ACCOUNTS)
• Usage: Used exclusively to display your phonebook, search contacts via T9 keypad, create new contacts, edit details, merge duplicate contacts, and backup/restore contacts (.vcf).
• Data Handling: Processed strictly on your local device. We do NOT collect, store on external servers, or transmit your contact list to third parties.
B. Call Logs & History (READ_CALL_LOG, WRITE_CALL_LOG)
• Usage: Used to display your recent call history (incoming, outgoing, missed, and declined calls), provide post-call action sheets, and manage call history records.
• Data Handling: Stored locally on your device. We do NOT upload your call history to any remote server.
C. Phone Call & Phone State (CALL_PHONE, READ_PHONE_STATE, ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS)
• Usage: Required to place phone calls, manage active in-app call screens, display incoming call overlays, and route audio (speaker, earpiece, bluetooth).
• Data Handling: Used solely for real-time call handling on your device.
D. Private Vault & Security (WAKE_LOCK, USE_BIOMETRIC, SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)
• Usage: Allows you to lock sensitive contacts or call logs behind a PIN or Fingerprint lock. Overlay permissions (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) are used to display post-call screens and incoming call sheets.
• Data Handling: Your security PIN is stored as a secure SHA-256 hash locally in your device's private storage (SharedPreferences).
2. Third-Party Services and Advertising
To keep the App free of charge, we integrate authorized third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) for advertising, analytics, and performance monitoring. These services may collect non-personally identifiable device identifiers (such as Advertising ID, IP address, device model, and OS version).
A. Advertising Partners
Our App serves third-party advertisements via:
• Google AdMob / AdX: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Meta Audience Network / TradPlus SDK: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ | https://www.tradplusad.com/privacy
B. Analytics & Crash Reporting
We use analytics to understand app usage and resolve technical crashes:
• Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Google Play Install Referrer: Collects anonymous installation attribution parameters (UTM campaign source) to evaluate marketing channels.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, rent, or lease your personal data, contacts, or call history to any third parties.
We may disclose non-personal, aggregated device information only if required by law, legal process, or to comply with valid government requests.
4. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your information locally on your device. However, please be aware that no security system is 100% impenetrable.
6. Your Data Rights & Control
You have full control over your data within the App:
• Revoking Permissions: You can revoke Contacts, Phone, Call Log, or Overlay permissions at any time via your device's Settings > Apps > Phone Dialer > Permissions.
• Data Deletion: Uninstalling the App immediately removes all local cached data, preferences, and private vault settings from your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
