This Privacy Policy applies to the Messenger: SMS & Text Home mobile application (the "Application") developed by brinfotech (the "Service Provider"). The Application is an SMS messaging app that can also act as your device's default Home launcher. This service is provided "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This may include:
- Your device Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Device type and operating system
- App usage data (pages visited, time spent, interaction)
- Advertising ID (for ads and analytics)
Due to the core functionality of the Application as a default SMS handler and Home launcher, the app may access:
- SMS/MMS messages (send, receive, read) — processed on your device to provide messaging
- Contacts (to display names, search, and send messages)
- Media files and camera (to send/receive images, videos, and attachments)
- Phone state and call log (to show the optional after-call screen with call details)
- The list of installed apps (to display your app grid, App Library, and search as a launcher)
This data is used only for core app functionality, is processed on your device, and is not stored on external servers.
Location
The Application does not request or collect precise device location. Third-party ad and analytics services may infer an approximate (city-level) location from your IP address, as described in their own privacy policies.
Use of Information
The Service Provider uses collected data to: provide and maintain the Service; enable SMS and launcher features; improve performance and functionality; provide customer support; and detect and prevent technical issues.
Advertising and Consent
The Application shows ads. Where required (e.g., EEA/UK), you will be asked for consent via Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice anytime from the app's Settings ("Privacy Settings"). You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID from your device's Google settings.
Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob (including Google's User Messaging Platform for consent)
- Meta Audience Network (Facebook)
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications)
- Mixpanel (analytics)
- Google Play Billing (subscriptions/purchases; payment is handled by Google Play)
- Google Play Install Referrer (install attribution)
These services have their own privacy policies.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
The Service Provider may disclose information: as required by law; to protect rights and safety; to prevent fraud or misuse; and to trusted service providers who follow this policy. The contents of your SMS messages, contacts, and call log are never sold or shared with third parties for advertising. Only aggregated and anonymized data is shared externally.

Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application. You can stop launcher data use by choosing a different default Home app in your device settings.
Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect data from children.

The Service Provider implements appropriate security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Application means acceptance of changes.
