This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when users install and use HIIT & Tabata Interval Timer.
The app does not require users to create an account or directly provide their name, email address, health records, precise location, or payment information to the publisher.
The publisher does not operate an account server or a server-side database containing users' workouts.
Local App Data
The app may store the following information locally on the user's device:
- Timer and workout settings

- Saved and favorite workouts
- Custom workout names, labels, activity types, intensities, and icons

Local data remains on the device until the user deletes it through available app controls or uninstalls the app.
Workout Reminders
The app can schedule optional local workout notifications.
Notification permission is requested only when needed for reminder features. Reminder information is scheduled through Apple's local notification system and is not sent to a notification server operated by Toril Lia.
The app does not use remote push notifications.
Advertising and Third-Party Processing
HIIT & Tabata Interval Timer uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK, provided by Google, to display banner advertisements.
Depending on the user's region, privacy choices, device settings, and the availability of an advertisement, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or process information including:
- The device's IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
- Non-user-related crash logs and diagnostic information
- Performance information such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage
- Advertising information, including advertisements displayed to the user
- App and advertisement interactions, such as app launches, taps, impressions, and video views
- Device identifiers, including advertising identifiers when available and permitted, or other app- or developer-bounded identifiers
Google may use this information for advertising, analytics, advertisement measurement, service performance, security, and fraud prevention.
Information transmitted to Google is handled according to Google's security practices and privacy policies.
The current iOS version does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not request permission to access Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
The app may use Apple's SKAdNetwork system for privacy-preserving advertisement attribution.
HIIT & Tabata Interval Timer does not request precise GPS location, HealthKit data, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or access to the user's Apple Calendar.
Advertising Consent and Privacy Choices
Where required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to present and manage advertising privacy choices before requesting advertisements.
Depending on applicable law and the user's choices, Google may provide personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical advertisement delivery.
When required, users can review or change available advertising choices through the Privacy options control in the app's Settings screen.
If consent, network access, or an eligible advertisement is unavailable, the advertisement remains hidden and the app's timer features remain available.

The iOS app uses or interacts with the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob for displaying banner advertisements
- Google User Messaging Platform for managing applicable advertising privacy choices
- Apple App Store for distribution, updates, and store services

No system can guarantee absolute security. Information handled by Google, Apple, or another service is protected according to that provider's security practices.
