Privacy Policy for FakeID Chrome Extension

FakeID does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal user data.
DATA STORAGE
All generated identities, passwords, and preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device.
EXTERNAL API USAGE
The extension connects to the following third-party APIs solely to generate fake data and temporary emails:
- randomuser.me (random identity generation)
- dummyjson.com (fallback identity generation)
- jsonplaceholder.typicode.com (fallback identity generation)
- 1secmail.com (temporary email)
- api.mail.tm (temporary email)
- api.guerrillamail.com (temporary email)
No personal user data is sent to these services. The extension only receives generated/random data from them.
PERMISSIONS
The extension requires browser permissions (activeTab, scripting, storage, clipboardWrite) solely to detect form fields, fill them with generated data, and copy values to clipboard. These permissions are never used to collect or monitor user activity.
ANALYTICS & TRACKING
This extension contains no analytics, tracking pixels, telemetry, or any form of data collection.
