The use of Fachat through our mobile applications may involve collection and use of your information. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and disclosed by Fachat with respect to your access and use of our services through our mobile applications. It is important for you to understand this Privacy Policy and how you may protect your information, so please read it carefully.
1. Application Scope of the Privacy Policy
By using Fachat, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms between you and Fachat Team (hereinafter “we”, “our” and “us”). You also agree that we may collect, use, and share your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as revised from time to time. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not use Fachat.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Fachat Terms of Service. Any terms used in this Privacy Policy will have the same meaning as the equivalent defined terms in the Fachat Terms of Service unless otherwise defined herein or the context requires otherwise.
Any information that is collected is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may modify and revise our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you of such changes by posting them on our website, through our services, or by sending you an email or other notification, and we will indicate when such changes will become effective. By continuing to access or use our services after the changes become effective, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised policy.
Fachat may link you to social media or other features or services provided by a third party. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to the information collected by any third-party websites, services, or applications that can be accessed through our services, and does not apply to the information collected by other companies and organizations who advertise their services on Fachat. We bear no liability for any third-party use of any information provided by you to them.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
To provide the services of Fachat, we access, collect, store, and use the following information relating to you:
Account registration information, including your email address, account name, gender, date of birth, age, city or area, social media account information (profile photo, gender, etc.), and any tags you post about yourself;
Profile information visible to other users, which may include your photographs, city or area, and other information you make available;
Usage and interaction data, including usage by geographies, device and connection information, IP address, device capability, bandwidth, statistics on page views, and network type;
Technical information, such as your mobile carrier-related information, configuration information made available by other programs you use to access Fachat, your IP address, your location/country/region/time zone, your device’s version and identification number, user settings, and the operating system; and
Information about the likes and dislikes you have made using Fachat.
2.2 Sensitive Personal Information – Device Permissions
To provide certain features (e.g., online video calling), we must access your microphone, camera, or location with your permission:
Microphone: We access the microphone on your device (with your permission) to record audio messages and deliver sound during video calls.
Camera: We access the camera on your device (with your permission) to take your profile pictures and deliver real-time images during video calls.
Location: We display your current location on your profile page (with your permission) to provide a personalized and optimized experience for you and other users.
By using Fachat, you agree that all processing activities of sensitive personal information are for the purposes and in the manner as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not use your sensitive personal information for the purpose of direct marketing unless agreed by you.
2.3 Face Age Estimation and Biometric Information
To comply with age verification requirements and to help ensure the safety of our community, Fachat uses a facial age estimation feature. This feature allows us to estimate whether you meet the minimum age requirement to use our services.
How It Works
When prompted, you will be asked to take a selfie using your device’s camera.
Your selfie image is securely transmitted to our third-party age estimation service provider, Amazon Web Services, Inc. (“AWS”), for processing.
AWS’s technology analyzes your facial image to estimate your age. It does not identify you personally—it only returns an estimated age or an “over/under” age result.
The selfie image is deleted immediately after the age estimation is complete. No facial images are stored by AWS, shared with Fachat, or shared with any other third party.
What Information Is Collected
Facial image (selfie photo) – captured via your device’s camera and transmitted directly to AWS for age estimation processing.
Estimated age result – Fachat receives only an age estimate or an “over/under” determination from AWS. We do not receive or store your selfie image.
Purpose and Legal Basis
We use facial age estimation solely for the purpose of verifying that you meet the minimum age requirement to use Fachat. This processing is based on your consent, which you provide when you agree to take a selfie for age verification.
Your Biometric Data Rights
Facial images used for age estimation may constitute biometric information under certain applicable laws (e.g., the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, EU GDPR, or other local regulations). By using the facial age estimation feature, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of your facial image for this purpose. You may withdraw your consent at any time by discontinuing use of this feature; however, this may affect your ability to use Fachat.

2.4 Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
On iOS devices, Fachat may request your permission to access your device’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. When you see the ATT prompt, you can choose to allow or deny tracking.
If you allow tracking, we may use your IDFA to:
Measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns;
Deliver personalized advertisements;
Attribute app installations and in-app events to advertising sources; and
Analyze aggregated user behavior for product improvement.
If you deny tracking, we will not access your IDFA and will not track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising purposes. You may change your preference at any time in your device’s Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
2.5 Children’s Information
The services of Fachat are not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any individual under such age. If we learn that we have collected personal information of an individual under 18, we will take steps to delete such information from our systems as soon as possible.
3. How We Use the Information We Collect
3.1 Purposes
We may use your information for any of the following purposes:
To provide services to you, including both current and future services rendered via Fachat;
To personalize and improve our services and your experience;
To send you promotional communications, product updates, new feature announcements, personalized recommendations, and special offers related to Fachat, subject to your right to opt out at any time;
To respond to inquiries for the purposes of customer service, security, archival, and backup;
To monitor and analyze the usage and trends of our services;
To personalize the services, including suggesting friends or profile information, or customizing the content we show you, including ads;
To enhance the safety and security of our products and services;
To verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity;
To verify that you meet the minimum age requirement for using our services;
To use information collected from cookies and other technology to enhance the services; and
To enforce our Terms of Service and other usage policies.
Fachat allows you to share text messages, photos, screenshots, videos, and other communications with other users. If you choose to do so, your content will not be stored on our servers. Sharing such content is your decision, and you should understand that you may no longer be able to control how that information is used once shared. Fachat is not responsible for any use or misuse of information you share.
3.2 Marketing Communications
By creating a Fachat account and agreeing to these Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, you consent to receive marketing and promotional communications from us via email, including but not limited to:
Product updates and new feature announcements;
Personalized content recommendations and user highlights;
Promotional offers, membership benefits, and special events.
You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by:
Clicking the "Unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of any
marketing email; or

We will process your opt-out request promptly. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional and service-related emails that are necessary for the operation of your account (e.g., account verification, password reset, security alerts, and changes to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy).
3.3 Transfer and Storage
We operate and may continue to operate servers in a number of jurisdictions around the world, so the server on which your personal information is used and stored may not be in your jurisdiction.
You consent to the transfer of your personal information (both inside and outside of your jurisdiction) for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
3.4 Sharing
Your information may be shared with others in the following ways:
Sharing on Fachat
Public information in your profile can be seen by anyone. Please do not post personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly available.
Your active status or usage information may be collected and displayed to other users (e.g., whether you are currently active on Fachat).
Sharing with Third-Party Partners
By using Fachat, you agree to the third-party use, sharing, and transfer of your personal information (both inside and outside of your jurisdiction) as prescribed in this Privacy Policy.
Measurement Partners. We may share information about you in anonymous and/or aggregated form with third parties for usage analytics, industry analysis, research, and other similar purposes.
Partners Offering Services in Fachat. Your information may be accessed and used by our service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our services. These service providers may have access to your information but only to the extent necessary to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose that information or use it for any other purposes.
Age Estimation Service Provider (AWS). When you use the facial age estimation feature, your selfie image is transmitted to Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) for the sole purpose of estimating your age. AWS acts as a data processor on our behalf, processes your facial image only to return an age estimate, and deletes the image immediately after processing. Advertising and Analytics Partners. If you have granted us permission to access your Advertising Identifier (IDFA/AAID), we may share this identifier with our advertising and analytics partners to measure campaign effectiveness, deliver personalized ads, and perform attribution analysis. These partners are contractually obligated to use such data only for the specified purposes.
Law Enforcement. We may share information about you if we are (or believe we are) required by law or legal process (such as a subpoena, warrant, or court order), if we have to respond to a lawful request from legal authorities, or if we need to enforce this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service, or our other policies.
New Owner. If we are acquired by a third party or reorganize our group structure, your information may be transferred within our group and/or to a third party who will continue to operate Fachat or similar services under either this Privacy Policy or a different privacy policy which will be notified to you.
Other than as permitted under this Privacy Policy, as otherwise consented to by you, or as required by law, we will not transfer your personal information to any other third parties for their processing.
3.5 Security Measures
We employ administrative, physical, and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. In the event that your personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify you as required by applicable law.
Where we share your personal information with any third parties, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that such third parties only use your personal information (i) in compliance with this Privacy Policy and (ii) subject to any other instructions we give them, including appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law. Specific retention practices include:
Account information: Retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Facial images for age estimation: Deleted by our service provider (AWS) immediately after the age estimation is complete. Fachat does not store facial images at any time.
Usage and technical data: Retained in aggregated or anonymized form for analytics purposes.
Legal obligations: Certain data may be retained beyond account deletion where required by law, regulation, or legitimate legal purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution).
5. How to Control Your Information
5.1 Accessing and Modifying Your Information
You can access and modify your account profile information directly within our services. If you believe your information posted on Fachat is inaccurate and can provide us with reasonable proof, please contact us via the information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.
5.2 Deleting Your Account and Information
You can request an account deletion in Fachat settings at any time, or contact us directly via the information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. After you submit the request, it may take up to three (3) business days for us to verify and process the deletion.
Once your account is closed or deleted, you will no longer have access to your message history, preferences, or any other information associated with your use of our services. Copies of information that has been shared with others or distributed pursuant to your privacy settings may remain viewable elsewhere. We will retain your personal data after account closure only if reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce the Terms of Service. De-personalized information may be retained after your account has been closed.
5.3 Managing Marketing Communications
You can manage your email communication preferences at any time. To stop receiving marketing emails from Fachat:
Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email you receive from us; or
Contact us at yochatcsteam@gmail.com to request removal from our marketing email list.
Your opt-out request will be processed promptly. Opting out of marketing emails will not affect transactional communications related to your account.
5.4 Managing Device Permissions
You can change the system settings of your device to manage permissions for specific device data access (including camera, microphone, location, and tracking) as well as notifications. By doing so, you can stop Fachat from accessing specific device data and displaying notifications. However, please keep in mind that this may cause certain services to lose functionality.
