Derja Tounsia ("the app") is a language-learning app for children that teaches Tunisian Derja through flashcards, games, and short illustrated stories.
✓ No ads✓ No accounts✓ No data collected✓ No microphone access
Learning progress (which words a child has practiced, stars earned). This is stored only on the child's own device and is never sent to us or to any third party.
That's the only data the app touches. There is no account, no login, and nothing is ever uploaded anywhere.
The app does not request microphone access and never records audio. Word pronunciations are pre-recorded audio files bundled into the app itself (recorded during development, not by end users), plus a device text-to-speech fallback for any word not yet recorded. No listening, recording, or audio capture happens on a user's device.
It does not collect names, emails, or any other personal information.
It does not use accounts or logins.
It does not show ads or use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
It does not request microphone, camera, location, or contacts access.
It does not sell or share any data, because no data leaves the device.
Because no personal data is collected, transmitted, or stored outside the child's own device, and the app requests no sensitive device permissions, the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Deleting the app, or using the in-app "Reset progress" option, removes all locally stored progress.
