Photos and Videos: The core function of the app is to hide the photos and videos you select. These files are moved from your device's public storage to a private, isolated storage area managed by the application on the same device. These files are never uploaded or backed up to any external servers.
Security Question and Answer: When setting up your account, we ask you to choose a security question and provide an answer. This information is used solely to help you regain access to the application if you forget your passcode. This data is stored securely and locally on your device.
B. Information Collected Automatically:
To improve application performance and provide advertising services, we use third-party services that may collect some information automatically:
Usage and Analytics Data (Google Analytics for Firebase): We collect anonymous usage data to understand how users interact with our app. This includes device type, operating system version, session durations, and features used. This information helps us improve the app and fix bugs.
Advertising Data (Google AdMob): Our app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's Advertising ID and approximate IP address to serve personalized and relevant ads.

For Passcode Recovery: To use your security question and answer to verify your identity and allow you to restore access.

Security is our highest priority.
Local Storage: We reiterate that all your sensitive files (photos, videos) and passcode recovery data are stored locally and exclusively on your device.
Important Warning: Because files are stored locally, uninstalling the app or clearing its data will result in the permanent and unrecoverable deletion of all hidden photos and videos. We strongly recommend unhiding all your files before performing these actions.
4. Permissions Required by the Application
The application requests the following permissions to provide its full functionality:
Access to Photos and Media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): To allow you to browse and select photos and videos from your gallery to hide them.
Write to External Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) (for older Android versions): To allow the app to save (unhide) your files back to public storage.
Use Biometric Hardware (USE_BIOMETRIC): To enable the option of unlocking the app using your fingerprint or face recognition for enhanced security.
Internet Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Necessary for Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics services to function.
