DRAWING WORDS ("we," "our," or "the App") is a creativity and diary application designed for users of all ages, including children. We take your privacy extremely seriously. This policy explains how we handle information within the App.
2. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA & GDPR-K COMPLIANCE)
DRAWING WORDS is designed to be a safe space.
- We do NOT collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from children.
- We do NOT require a user account, name, or email address to use the App.
- All "Parental Gates" (math challenges) are implemented to ensure only adults can access external links (such as support emails or legal policies).
3. DATA STORAGE AND COLLECTION
- LOCAL STORAGE ONLY: All content created within the App—including drawings, text entries, and voice notes—is stored locally on YOUR device. We do not have servers, and we cannot see, read, or hear your secrets.
- NO DATA COLLECTION: We do not collect, track, or share any data regarding your usage, location, or device identity.
- NO THIRD-PARTY SHARING: Since we do collect your data, we have nothing to sell or share with advertisers or third parties.
4. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED
The App requests specific permissions to function. Here is why:
- MICROPHONE: Used only when you choose to record a "Secret Voice Note." Recordings are stored only on your phone and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- STORAGE/GALLERY: Used only when you choose to "Save to Gallery" so the App can place your artwork in your phone's photo library.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
- ADS: DRAWING WORDS is 100% Ad-Free.
- ANALYTICS: We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking software.
6. IN-APP PURCHASES
The App may offer optional digital content (sticker packs/features). All financial transactions are handled securely by the Google Play Store. We do not see or store your credit card or billing information.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy occasionally. However, our core philosophy—that your data stays on your device—will never change.
8. TERMS OF USE & DISCLAIMER
Data Responsibility: DRAWING WORDS is a local-only application. Because your data is not stored on a server, we cannot recover any lost drawings, text, or voice notes. You are solely responsible for backing up your own device.
App Deletion: Uninstalling the app will result in the permanent deletion of all locally stored data. This cannot be undone.
No Liability: By using this App, you agree that we are not liable for any data loss, hardware failure, emotional distress, or technical bugs. The App is provided "as-is" without warranties.
