This Privacy Policy explains how T NOTE: Pen Edition (the “App”), developed by Rotinda Dağ (the “Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the App.
T NOTE: Pen Edition is designed to work locally on your Android device. The App does not collect or transmit your notes, documents, or other personal data to the Developer.
The App does not require an account or login, and it does not collect personal information from you through the App. In particular, the App does not collect your name, email address, contact information, device identifiers, location, notes, drawings, or document contents for transmission to the Developer.
We do not use the App to track user behavior, deliver personalized advertisements, or collect analytics data.
Your notes and documents may contain personal or sensitive information that you choose to enter. That content is handled locally on your device and is not accessible to the Developer.
When you contact us: If you choose to email us for support or privacy-related questions, we receive the email address, message, and any information you voluntarily include. This is separate from the App's operation. We use that correspondence to respond to your inquiry and handle your request, not to track your use of the App.
The App stores notes and related application data in Android's app-specific storage on your device.
When you choose to import or open a document, the App uses Android's system file picker to access the files you select. The App can open and process selected files locally, including PDF and supported Office documents. Office document conversion takes place on the device.
The App does not upload your files, note contents, drawings, or document conversions to the Developer's servers.
You may choose to export notes or documents, including as PDF files, and save them to a location of your choice. Exporting creates a file under your control.
Files you export outside the App's private storage may be accessible to other applications or services depending on the destination you choose and your device settings. If you independently choose to share or upload an exported file using another app or service, that service's privacy practices apply. The Developer does not automatically receive those files.
The App does not provide cloud synchronization, cloud storage, or automatic cloud backups of your notes and documents. It does not transmit your content to the Developer or to a third-party cloud service.
The App does not use advertising trackers or analytics services to collect information about how you use it. We do not sell your personal information.
Services provided separately by your device's operating system or app marketplace are governed by their respective providers' policies, not by data collection performed by this App.
Because the App does not collect or transmit user content or personal information to us, we do not use or share such information for marketing, profiling, analytics, or other business purposes.
If you voluntarily contact us, we use your correspondence to provide support or respond to your request. Any processing of that correspondence is limited to those purposes and applicable legal obligations. We do not sell support correspondence.
Notes and application data remain on your device until you remove them using the available App or device controls. Uninstalling the App generally removes data stored in its app-specific storage, subject to Android's behavior and your device configuration.
Exported files saved outside the App's storage are not necessarily deleted when you uninstall the App. You can manage or delete those files from their saved locations.
We do not keep cloud copies of your notes or documents and cannot remotely access, recover, or delete them. If you send a support email, we may retain that correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the request or meet applicable legal requirements.
The App relies on Android's application sandboxing and app-specific storage protections to help prevent other applications from directly accessing its private data. Documents you export may have different protections depending on where you save them.
Your device's security, the destination of exported files, and any sharing choices you make can affect the privacy of your content. No method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.
T NOTE: Pen Edition is a general-purpose note-taking application and is not specifically directed at children. Children may use its note-taking features; the App does not require users to be 18 or older.
The App does not collect or transmit personal information from children or adults to the Developer through its normal operation.
You can access, edit, export, and delete your locally stored content using the App's available features and your device's file-management controls. Because we do not receive or store your notes or documents, we cannot access, modify, or delete them on your behalf.
If you have contacted us directly, you may email us to ask about any personal information contained in that correspondence, including requests for access, correction, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, its features, or applicable requirements. Any revised version will be published with a new “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
