This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform as a registered Legal Consultant (Vakil). Please read this policy carefully. By registering and using the App, you agree to the terms described herein.
When you register as a Legal Consultant, we collect:
Full name, email address, and phone number
Profile photo
Bar Council registration number and enrollment certificate
City, state, and address details
Years of experience and areas of legal practice
Consultation fee per minute
Bank account details or UPI ID for withdrawal of earned funds
Transaction history and payout records
Call and consultation logs (duration, timestamps)
Online/offline status and availability
Documents uploaded to the platform (e.g., certificates, case files)
Device information, IP address, and app usage analytics
Audio/video call metadata (we do not record calls without explicit consent)
In-app messages and notifications
We use the information we collect to:
Verify your identity and professional credentials
Display your profile to clients seeking legal consultation
Process consultation payments and fund withdrawals
Maintain your online status and availability
Send notifications about new consultations, payments, and platform updates
Improve app performance and user experience
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
Investigate and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with:
Clients: Your name, profile photo, experience, city, and consultation fee are visible to clients on the platform
Payment Partners: Bank/UPI details are shared with our payment processing partners solely for payout purposes
Service Providers: Third-party vendors (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) who assist in operating the platform under strict confidentiality agreements
Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or government regulation
Documents you upload (such as Bar Council certificates, identity proofs, or case-related files) are:
Stored securely on encrypted servers
Accessible only to you and authorized platform administrators
Never shared with clients or third parties without your explicit consent
Deletable by you at any time via the Manage Documents section
Your online/offline status is visible to clients on the platform to indicate your availability for consultations. You may toggle your availability at any time within the App settings.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:
Your profile will be permanently removed from the platform
Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial regulations
Consultation logs may be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest
Secure authentication with token-based sessions
Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your login credentials confidential.
As a Legal Consultant on our platform, you have the right to:
Access your personal data stored on the platform
Update your profile and personal information at any time
Download a copy of your data upon request
Delete your account and associated data (subject to Section 7)
Opt out of non-essential notifications and communications

Payment gateways for fund withdrawals

Our platform is intended solely for registered legal professionals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
