This Privacy Policy describes how Sukygo Loan Tools ("the App", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our iOS application.

1. Summary in One Line

Sukygo Loan Tools is a fully local educational tool. We do not operate any backend servers and we do not transmit your usage data anywhere. All your quiz progress, term mastery, scan results, rate calculations, and bookmarks live exclusively on your device.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or other personally identifying information

• Your bank accounts, credit history, or income

• The text of loan contracts you scan

• The numbers you input into the rate calculator

• Your contacts, calendar, microphone audio, or browsing history

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following on your device only, in an encrypted SQLite database:

• Quiz answers and scores

• Term-mastery progress (which jargon cards you've swiped right or left)

• Risk-scan results from the in-app scanner

• Rate calculations you performed

• Loan-comparison plans you saved

• Daily-streak count and unlocked achievement badges

• Theme preference and other settings

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all of it.

4. Optional Sign-In

Signing in is optional. The educational features work without an account. If you choose to sign in:

• We collect only your phone number and a 4-digit verification code, used solely to authenticate the session.

• Your phone number is stored locally as a label, with a JWT session token. We do not maintain a remote user database for the educational features.

The App requests these iOS permissions only when you trigger the corresponding feature:

6. Photo Library

We use Apple's PHPicker (the system photo picker), which lets you select a single image without granting library-wide access. We never browse, read, or upload your library — only the specific image you choose.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services for diagnostics and growth attribution. They may receive anonymized device-level data:

• Apple App Tracking Transparency / IDFA — ad attribution (only if you grant permission)

• Adjust SDK — install-source attribution (anonymized device fingerprint)

• Facebook App Events — install-source attribution (anonymized device fingerprint)

We do not share content of your scans, calculations, or quiz answers with any third party.

8. Educational Use Only

Sukygo Loan Tools provides quizzes, glossaries, and calculators for educational purposes. We do not provide loan products, financial advice, or recommendations. Calculations are estimates and should not replace consultation with a qualified financial advisor or lender.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, simply uninstall it — no data lingers in our servers because we don't have any.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when functionality changes. Updates take effect when published in-app. We'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top.
