Step Tracker Pro ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our mobile application.

Physical Activity Data: Our app uses the ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION sensor on your device to count your steps. This data is processed in real-time to display your daily progress, calories, and distance.
Local Storage: We use an on-device database (SQLite) and SharedPreferences to save your step history and daily goals. This data remains on your phone and is not uploaded to our servers.
To function correctly, the app requests the following permissions:
Activity Recognition: To detect your steps.
Notifications: To send daily reminders and progress updates.
Internet Access: To load advertisements and provide app updates.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use service-related information (such as your device’s advertising ID) to show personalized ads.
Our app is not specifically targeted at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent and aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
We value your trust in providing us your information. Since all fitness data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. Deleting the app will typically remove all locally stored history.
