1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy describes how SlowCheck ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
By using SlowCheck, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Device Information
We access the following device information to provide performance analysis:
• RAM (Random Access Memory) usage and capacity
• Storage space usage and available capacity
• Battery level and status
• Thermal/temperature status
• List of installed applications (app names and package identifiers)
• App storage sizes and cache sizes
• Running processes and their memory consumption
2.2 Usage Statistics
With your explicit permission (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS), we may access:
• Which apps are currently running
• App usage time (for identifying performance bottlenecks)
• App launch frequency
2.3 Information We DO NOT Collect
We explicitly DO NOT collect, access, or store:
• Personal identifiable information (name, email, phone number)
• Contacts or contact information
• Photos, videos, or media files
• SMS messages or call logs
• Location data (GPS or network-based)
• Browsing history or web data
• Keyboard input or typed content
• Account credentials or passwords
• Financial information
• Health data
• Any data from other apps
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
All analysis happens locally on your device. We use the collected information solely to:
• Calculate your phone's health score
• Identify apps using excessive RAM or storage
• Provide optimization recommendations
• Display performance charts and statistics
• Generate health reports
4. DATA STORAGE AND TRANSMISSION
4.1 Local Storage Only
ALL data analysis and storage happens exclusively on your device. We do NOT:
• Upload your data to any server
• Transmit your device information over the internet
• Store your data in any cloud service
• Share your information with any third parties
4.2 What Gets Stored
Only the following is saved locally on your device:
• Premium subscription status (if purchased)
• App settings and preferences (notifications toggle, etc.)
• No personal or device-specific data is permanently stored
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
5.1 Google AdMob (Advertisements)
For free users, we display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
• Device advertising ID
• IP address
• Device type and operating system
• Crash data

5.2 Google Play In-App Billing
Premium subscriptions are processed securely through Google Play Store. Google may collect:
• Purchase history
• Payment information (handled entirely by Google, not accessible to us)

6. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED
6.1 PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS (Usage Access)
Why we need it: To see which apps are running and using device resources
What we do: Analyze app usage to identify performance bottlenecks
What we don't do: Track app content, keystrokes, or personal data
6.2 QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES
Why we need it: To list installed applications for analysis
What we do: Show app names and sizes
What we don't do: Access app data or content
6.3 BATTERY_STATS
Why we need it: To display battery level
What we do: Show current battery percentage
What we don't do: Track charging patterns or battery history
6.4 INTERNET & NETWORK_STATE
Why we need it: To display advertisements (free version only)
What we do: Load ads and check network connectivity
What we don't do: Send your personal data online
6.5 POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Why we need it: To send health alerts (optional feature)
What we do: Send local notifications about device health
What we don't do: Track notification interactions
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
SlowCheck is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete such information.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
8.1 You Have the Right To:
• Uninstall the app at any time
• Revoke permissions in Android Settings → Apps → SlowCheck → Permissions
• Opt-out of personalized advertisements
• Request data deletion (contact us)
• Disable notifications in app settings
8.2 How to Revoke Permissions:
1. Open Android Settings
2. Go to Apps → SlowCheck
3. Tap Permissions
4. Toggle off any permission
9. DATA RETENTION
Since we don't collect or store personal data on our servers:
• Device analysis data is temporary and only stored in device RAM during app use
• Premium subscription status is stored locally until you uninstall the app
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
10. SECURITY MEASURES
We implement security best practices:
• All processing happens locally on your device
• No data transmission to external servers
• Encrypted SharedPreferences for local storage
• No collection of sensitive personal information
• Regular security updates
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page. The "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly.
We will notify users of any material changes through:
• In-app notification
• Update notes in Play Store
• Email (if we have contact information)
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Since all data processing occurs locally on your device, there are no international data transfers. The only exception is Google AdMob and Play Billing, which are governed by Google's privacy policies.
13. DO NOT TRACK
SlowCheck does not track users across different apps or websites. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals as we don't track users in the first place.
14. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
• Right to know what personal information is collected
• Right to delete personal information
• Right to opt-out of sale of personal information
Note: SlowCheck does NOT sell personal information.
15. GDPR COMPLIANCE (European Users)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA):
• Legal basis for processing: Legitimate interest (device performance analysis)
• You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing
• You have the right to data portability
• You have the right to object to processing
• You have the right to withdraw consent at any time
