Privacy Policy for Shiftora

Shiftora is a shift scheduling app developed by Yassine El Hassnaoui. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Information stored on your device

Shiftora stores your shifts, schedules, notes, rotation patterns, reminders, and preferences locally on your device. It also stores limited activity information locally to manage features such as backup reminders, upgrade offers, and App Store review prompts.

You do not need an account. We do not receive or store your roster on our servers, and the current version does not provide app-operated cloud synchronization.

2. How information is used

Information stored in the app is used to display your calendar, calculate shift summaries, schedule reminders, show widgets, and provide import, export, and backup features.

Shiftora does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites, or sell your personal information.

3. Notifications and widgets

With your permission, Shiftora schedules local notifications through iOS. You can change notification permissions in your device settings. Reminder details may appear on your Lock Screen according to your notification settings.

The app shares limited shift information with its own widget through storage on your device. This includes shift names and times; your notes are not included.

4. Purchases

Purchases and purchase restoration are handled by Apple’s App Store. Shiftora uses Apple-provided transaction information to verify access to Pro features. We do not receive your payment card details.

Apple handles information under its own Privacy Policy.

5. Exports, sharing, and backups

When you export or share a roster, Shiftora creates a file and lets you choose its destination through the system share sheet. Exported backups may contain your shifts, notes, patterns, and preferences. Anyone who receives a backup may be able to read its contents.

Files saved or shared through another service are subject to that service’s privacy practices.

Your device’s backup services, including iCloud Backup if enabled, may include app data according to your device settings. Shiftora does not independently upload your roster to a developer-operated cloud service.

6. Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you provide. We use this information to respond to your request and resolve support issues. Please include only information needed for assistance.

Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and meet applicable obligations.

7. Retention and deletion

Your roster and preferences remain on your device until you change or delete them, or delete the app. Recovery copies created before importing a replacement roster may remain in the app’s storage until you delete the app.

To remove the app’s local data, delete Shiftora rather than offloading it. Exported files, shared copies, and device backups must be managed separately through the relevant app or service.

8. Security

Shiftora uses iOS app storage protections to help safeguard locally stored information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You control access to your device and the destinations of files you export or share.

9. Children’s privacy

Shiftora is intended for general shift scheduling and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through support communications. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can address it.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You can manage your roster directly in the app. For information provided through support communications, contact us using the email below.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The revised policy will show an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes.
