This privacy policy applies to the SHADOW MESSAGE mobile application (the “Application”) provided by Bro Omen (the “Service Provider”) as a free service. The Application is provided “AS IS.”
The Application collects information when you download, install, and use it. To provide a functional experience and serve advertisements, the following data may be collected:
Device Identifiers: Android Advertising ID (AAID), App set ID, and other persistent device identifiers.
Network & Technical Data: IP address, device model, hardware manufacturer, OS version, app version, language settings, and diagnostic/crash reports.
Usage & Interaction Data: Screens viewed (e.g., specific chapters or articles of KUHP), time and date of visits, time spent on pages, clicks, and navigation paths.
Location Data (Coarse): Approximate location derived from IP address for regional ad targeting. The Application does not collect precise GPS location.
User-supplied Data: Any information provided voluntarily when contacting support (e.g., email address).
We and our authorized service providers use the collected data to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the Application.
Deliver, target, and measure the effectiveness of advertisements.
Analyze usage trends and diagnose technical issues.
Prevent fraud and abuse.
Respond to support requests and communicate important notices.
The Application uses third-party services that may collect and process data. These include:
Google Play Services: For app functionality and security.
Google AdMob: For ad delivery, ad personalization, and analytics. AdMob may use the AAID to show personalized ads.
Google Analytics for Firebase: To understand app usage and improve user experience.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we will present a consent notice (via Google’s User Messaging Platform) to request your consent for personalized advertising. If you do not give consent, the Application will show non‑personalized ads instead. You may withdraw consent at any time through the app settings.
Google Ads Settings: To opt out of personalized ads from Google, visit https://adssettings.google.com.
Reset Advertising ID: On your Android device, go to Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID.
Uninstall: Uninstalling the Application stops all further collection of data by the Application.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described. Usage and analytics data is generally retained for up to 24 months. If you request deletion of your data, we will take reasonable steps to delete it within 30 days, subject to legal obligations.
The Application is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will promptly delete it.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, please be aware that no security measure is perfect or impenetrable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
