Session duration
Encrypted traffic passing through our VPN servers is processed in volatile memory (RAM) only for routing purposes and is never written to disk or permanently stored.
Because we do not store activity or connection logs, we cannot share data that we do not possess.
2. Personal Information
VPN Fox does not require registration or account creation.
We do not automatically collect personal information such as:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Device identifiers
Precise location data
Support Communications
If you contact us for customer support, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide (such as your email address and message content). This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and provide assistance.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
3. Technical Information and Limited Processing
Although we do not collect activity logs, limited non-identifiable technical processing is necessary to operate the service.
Temporary VPN Processing
Temporary, non-persistent processing occurs solely to:
Establish and maintain the VPN tunnel
Assign an internal session IP address
Route encrypted packets
Verify Premium entitlement status
This processing is automatic and occurs only during an active VPN session.
Minimal Diagnostic Data
To improve stability and performance, we may collect limited technical information such as:
App version
Connection success status
Selected server region
Total data usage (aggregated only, not content)
With user permission, anonymized crash reports may be collected via Apple’s system diagnostics tools. These reports do not contain identifiable browsing or connection data.
You may disable system crash reporting in your device settings.
4. In-App Purchases
Premium features are unlocked via Apple In-App Purchase.
All payment transactions are processed directly by Apple.
We do not receive or store:
Credit card details
Billing information
Payment identities
We receive only anonymized purchase and entitlement status necessary to enable Premium access.
5. App Store Data Collection Clarification
For clarity regarding regulatory and App Store compliance:
What user information is collected while using the VPN?
None.
VPN Fox does not collect personal data or activity logs. The only data that interacts with our VPN infrastructure is encrypted traffic required to route network packets. This traffic is processed temporarily in RAM and never persisted.
For what purpose is information processed?
Temporary processing occurs exclusively for establishing and maintaining the VPN tunnel and enforcing access status (e.g., Premium entitlement).
Is any data shared with third parties?
No.
We do not share user activity or personal data with third parties.
The app:
Includes no advertising SDKs
Includes no third-party tracking SDKs
Does not perform cross-app or cross-site tracking
6. Advertising
Premium users receive no advertisements.
Free-tier users may see non-targeted ads served by platform-approved ad networks. We do not provide personal or VPN usage data to advertisers.
Ad providers may operate under their own privacy policies.
7. Data Retention
Because we do not collect activity or connection logs, there is no browsing data retained.
Support correspondence (if any) is retained only as long as necessary to resolve inquiries or comply with legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
8. Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect the limited information under our control.
Access to internal systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.
If any infrastructure provider requires activity logging as a condition of service, we discontinue use of that provider.
9. Jurisdiction and Legal Compliance
VPN Fox operates under applicable international laws.
We do not retain user activity or connection logs. Therefore, even in the event of a lawful request, there is no browsing or connection data available to disclose.
10. Children’s Privacy
VPN Fox does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 16.
If we become aware that such data has been provided, it will be deleted.
