Selyn: AI Beauty Editor ("Selyn," "we," "us," or "our") is developed by ApeHero. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Android application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using Selyn, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
This Policy applies to all users of Selyn worldwide. Selyn is intended for users 18 years of age and older.
Photos: We collect photos you choose to upload for AI beauty editing features. Providing photos is optional — you may decline, though this will limit certain App features. Photos are processed on an ephemeral (temporary) basis to generate your requested output and are not permanently stored on our servers after processing, unless you choose to save results within the App.
Crash Logs, Diagnostics, and App Performance Data: We collect and share crash logs, diagnostics, and other app performance data with Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics) for the purpose of analyzing app stability and performance. This data collection is required for App functionality and cannot be disabled.
Device or Other IDs: We collect device identifiers and other IDs. This data is required and is used both to operate core App features and for analytics purposes (via Firebase/Google Analytics). This data is retained and is not processed ephemerally.
Account Information: When you sign in via Google Sign-In, we collect your name and email address to authenticate your account. We do not access any other Google account data beyond basic profile information.
Payment Information: Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment account details — these are handled entirely by Google Play.

AI Model Training: We do not use your uploaded photos, videos, or generated content to train our AI models or any third-party AI models.
Where applicable, we process your personal data under one or more of the following legal bases: Contract Performance (to provide the App's features), Legitimate Interests (app stability, security, improvement), Consent (for optional data uses, e.g. providing photos), and Legal Obligation (to comply with applicable laws).
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Firebase / Google Analytics — crash logs, diagnostics, app performance data, and device/other IDs, for analytics and app stability purposes
Google Play Billing — for processing subscriptions and in-app purchases
Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Selyn, our users, or the public
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Selyn is available globally, and your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including where our service providers (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure) operate. Where required by applicable law, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
Photos are processed temporarily and not retained after output generation (unless saved by you within the App). Crash logs, diagnostics, and device ID data are retained as needed for analytics and app improvement purposes. Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, or update your personal information; request deletion of your account and associated data; request a copy of your data in a portable format; and object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. Right to Lodge a Complaint (EU/EEA/UK users): If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (Selyn does not sell or share personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA). You can delete your account and associated data directly within the App via Settings > Account > Delete Account. If you no longer have access to the App, you may request deletion by emailing nangluongxanhbacgiang@gmail.com, without needing to reinstall or log into the App.
Selyn is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will promptly delete it.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Selyn may send you push notifications regarding your account, subscription, or new features. You can disable push notifications at any time via your device settings.
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date, and where required, we will notify you via the App or email. Continued use of Selyn after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
