About Scenemaa

Scenemaa is a mobile application designed to support filmmakers during the pre-production stage of filmmaking. Whether working on a feature film, short film, or web series, users can:

• Create and manage multiple projects

• Plan shot lists and scene breakdowns

• Add character profiles

• Maintain and analyze detailed budgets

• Estimate dialogue delivery time using the built-in Dialogue Timer

Scenemaa is developed jointly by FILMINITY, an independent filmmaking startup, and KEZUD, a product development team focused on building professional tools for creators and educators.

1. Information Collection

Scenemaa is built with user privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data.

• No user account or login is required

• No user name, email, or phone number is collected

• No analytics or tracking systems are used

• No camera, microphone, or contact access is required

• No internet connection is required for functionality

The app is fully functional offline and does not connect to any remote server or cloud platform.

2. Data Usage and Storage

All data entered in the app — including project information, scenes, shot details, characters, and budgets — is stored only on your device. This data is:

• Fully private and inaccessible to developers or third parties

• Stored locally using device storage mechanisms

• Automatically removed when the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared via settings

There is no synchronization with external servers or backups. You are in full control of your data.

3. Third-Party Services

Scenemaa uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data, such as device type, session duration, and user interaction, to help improve the app. No personally identifiable information is collected or shared.

We do not use any other third-party services like ad networks, cloud storage, or social logins. All features work offline, and your data stays on your device.

4. Offline Functionality

Scenemaa is intentionally designed to function completely offline, making it reliable even in low-connectivity environments such as film sets or rural locations.

All features — project creation, shot planning, budgeting, and dialogue timing — work without internet access. Any optional external actions (e.g., sharing data or exporting files) are user-initiated and not automatic.

5. Children's Privacy

Scenemaa is intended for use by filmmakers, students, and professionals involved in media production. It is not marketed toward children under the age of 13.

• The app does not knowingly collect any data from children

• Since there is no personal information collection, Scenemaa is compliant with child privacy regulations like COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act)

If you believe a child under 13 has used the app and entered identifiable data, please contact us so we can guide you on removing local device data (though we do not have access to it).

6. User Control and Data Deletion

Since no personal data is collected or stored externally, users are fully in control of their own information.

To delete data:

• Simply uninstall the app

• Or, clear app data via the device’s App Settings

There is no cloud storage to request deletion from — all data remains offline and local to your device.

7. Updates to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as new features are added to the app or if data-handling practices change. We are committed to transparency and privacy.

Changes will be reflected:

• In the app's Play Store listing

• Or within the app, if applicable

• The effective “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly
