App Functionality Only: Phone numbers and email addresses are processed strictly on-device to perform core app functions (instant decoding, calling, emailing, and QR generation).
No Cloud Uploads: All processing is executed 100% locally on user device via on-device machine learning (Google ML Kit & ZXing). No personal data is transmitted to or stored on QR Code Scanner Barcode Reader servers.
3. Third-Party Sharing:
No Data Sharing: QR Code Scanner Barcode Reader does NOT share, sell, rent, or transfer user phone number, email address, or any other personal data to third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.
4. Data Retention and Deletion:
Retention Period: Any scanned records or generated codes saved in the local history are stored locally on user device for the time period determined by the user.
User-Initiated Deletion: User has full control over user data. User can delete individual scan history items or clear user entire history at any time directly within the app by tapping the "Clear History" button. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all stored data.Â

These files log visitors when they use app. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.
