Overview
Quick Scan & Save is a QR and barcode scanner and generator. The app processes scans on your device and does not collect or transmit your personal data to external servers.
Data we collect
We do not collect, track, or share any personal data.
The app does not use analytics, ads, or third‑party tracking SDKs.
What is stored on your device (local only)
Scan history: the scanned value, date/time, and a simple flag indicating if it looks like a URL.
Settings: your theme preference (light/dark/system).
Generated QR images you choose to save: PNG files saved in the app’s documents folder.
You can delete items individually, clear all history in the History screen, and delete saved images using your device’s file tools or by uninstalling the app.
Permissions
Camera: used solely to scan QR codes and barcodes when you open the Scan screen. The camera feed never leaves your device.
How we use information
All processing (scanning and generation) happens on‑device.
When you tap “Open,” URLs are opened by your device’s default browser.
When you tap “Share,” the selected content is passed to your device’s share sheet per your choice.
Data sharing
We do not share your data with third parties.
Any content you choose to share is handled by your device’s operating system and chosen apps.
Children’s privacy
This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Because the app does not transmit your data, risks are limited to your device. Please secure your device and OS with current updates.
International transfers
No data is sent to our servers; international transfers do not apply.
Third‑party services
Mobile camera/ML libraries operate on‑device.
External browsers and share targets are controlled by you and their respective providers. Review their policies if you choose to use them.
Your choices
Deny camera permission: scanning will be disabled; other features remain available.
Delete data: remove individual entries, clear all history, delete saved images, or uninstall the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect app or legal changes. Updates will be posted with a new “Effective date.”
