1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the "OneClick Cast" mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We respect your privacy. The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying personal information.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information the App Accesses on Your Device (and does not send to us)
To provide its core features, the App accesses the following on your device. This information stays on your device and your local network — we do not collect, store, or transmit it to our servers (we do not operate any servers).
Local videos you choose to cast. When you pick a video from your phone to stream to a TV, the App serves that file over your local Wi-Fi network directly to your TV. The file is not uploaded to us or any third party.
Local network / nearby device information. To discover TVs and cast devices, the App detects devices on your Wi-Fi network (for example, a Chromecast or DLNA TV name). This is used only to show you a list of devices to connect to.
App preferences. A small on-device setting remembers whether you have completed the introductory screens. It is stored locally on your device only.
3. Information Collected by Third-Party Advertising Partners
The App is free and supported by advertising. We use third-party advertising services to display ads. These partners may automatically collect and process certain information from your device to serve and measure ads, including:
Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
Device information (such as device model, operating system version, language, and network type)
IP address (which may be used to infer approximate, coarse location such as country or region)
Ad interaction data (such as ads shown, clicks, and general usage signals)
Our advertising partners are:
AppLovin (MAX) — Privacy Policy: https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
Meta Audience Network (Facebook) — Data Policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
Google Play Services / Google Mobile Ads (where applicable) — Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
These companies act as independent controllers of the data they collect. We encourage you to review their privacy policies to understand how they use your information. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of these third parties.
4. How Information Is Used
Information accessed or collected is used to:
Provide the App's casting and screen-mirroring features;
Display and measure advertisements;
Keep the App functioning correctly and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal information ourselves. Advertising partners may use the Advertising ID and related data for personalized advertising as described in their own policies.
5. Permissions the App Uses
Internet / Network state / Wi-Fi state & multicast — required to discover and communicate with TVs and cast devices on your local network, and to serve ads.
Notifications — used to show media playback controls while casting.
Foreground service (media playback) — allows casting to continue reliably while media is playing.
Screen mirroring itself is handled by your device's built-in "Cast screen" feature; the App simply opens the system cast menu and does not capture, record, or transmit your screen.
6. Advertising ID and Your Choices
You can control the Advertising ID used for ads:
Reset or delete your Advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (path may vary by device).
Opt out of personalized ads: Use the same Android Ads settings to limit ad personalization.
Where required by law, our advertising partners provide a consent mechanism (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California) before collecting or using data for personalized advertising.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the advertising partners, please contact us and we will work with the relevant partner to address it.
8. Data Retention
We do not maintain servers and do not retain your personal information. Any data collected by our advertising partners is retained according to their respective privacy policies.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of certain processing or "sales"/"sharing" of personal information. Because we do not ourselves collect or store your personal information, most such requests should be directed to the advertising partners listed in Section 3, using the contact details in their privacy policies. You may also contact us and we will assist where we can.
10. International Data Transfers
Our advertising partners may process data in countries other than your own. Those transfers are governed by the partners' privacy policies and applicable safeguards.
11. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective date." Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
