2. Data Storage & Collection • Local Storage: We DO NOT collect or store your scan images, AI responses, or scan history on our servers. All scanned plant data and images are saved completely locally on your device. • Account Data: We store your name, email, and profile picture (via Google Sign-In) to manage your profile. • Camera: Images taken are temporarily processed by Google Generative AI (Gemini) strictly to provide plant care results and are never retained by us.
3. AI Limitations & Content Guidelines • AI Can Make Mistakes: The plant care advice is generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate. Always double-check critical plant care decisions. • No Sensitive Content: Please do not scan sensitive personal information, private documents, or people. The camera should be used strictly for scanning plants.
4. How We Use Your Data • To personalize your garden profile. • To maintain and improve our app's core functionality. • To show relevant reward-based advertisements (AdMob).
5. Third-Party Services We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, including: • Google Play Services • Firebase Authentication & Firestore • Google AdMob • Google Generative AI (Gemini API for plant analysis)
6. Data Security We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and reliable.
7. Data Retention & Deletion We retain your account data only as long as necessary. You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the in-app settings.
8. Children's Privacy Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
