Notchly (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy.
Notchly is an Android app designed to let users trigger shortcuts, actions, and quick interactions from the device’s notch area or top-screen gesture zone, including optional accessibility-powered features and optional contact shortcuts.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when using the App.
By installing or using Notchly, you agree to this Policy.
a) Information You Provide or Configure
Notchly may allow you to provide, choose, or configure information such as:
App preferences and settings
Selected shortcut actions
Chosen apps for quick launch
Optional contact shortcuts you select
Notch menu configuration
Premium feature preferences
Theme, language, and personalization settings
Most of this information may be stored locally on your device.
b) Contacts Access
If you choose to use features that allow quick access to people from the notch menu or shortcut area, Notchly may request access to your contacts through the READ_CONTACTS permission.
If granted, Notchly uses contact access only to:
Let you browse and select contacts inside the app
Show contact names or related shortcut data you choose to configure
Enable contact-based quick actions you explicitly set up
Notchly does not collect, sell, or share your full contact list for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Contact data is accessed only as needed to provide the contact shortcut feature you choose to use.
If you do not want to grant contact access, you can still use Notchly without contact-based features.
c) Accessibility Service
Some core Notchly features may require enabling Android’s Accessibility Service.
If you enable Accessibility Service for Notchly, the service is used only to provide the app’s requested functionality, such as:
Detecting configured gesture interactions
Triggering selected shortcuts or actions
Supporting notch-based interaction features
Improving the reliability of accessibility-powered app behavior
Notchly does not use Accessibility Service to sell your data or for advertising purposes.
Notchly does not intentionally use Accessibility data to read, collect, or share personal content beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide the app’s core functionality.

All billing and purchase processing is handled directly by Google Play.
Notchly may display ads in the App, including ads served by third-party partners such as Google AdMob, depending on the version of the app and your subscription status.
Advertising providers may collect or receive certain device-level or technical information to:
Serve ads
Measure ad performance
Prevent fraud
Improve advertising services
Depending on your region, device settings, and consent choices, this may include identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID, approximate device information, app interaction signals, and diagnostic information.

Where required by law, we may request consent before showing personalized ads or before allowing certain advertising-related data processing.
Your preferences, selected shortcuts, chosen contacts for shortcuts, and related configuration data may be stored locally on your device.
If the app uses third-party services for analytics, diagnostics, billing, or advertising, only the data reasonably necessary for those services may be processed.
If you uninstall Notchly, locally stored app data may be removed from your device, subject to Android system behavior.
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share limited data only with service providers that help operate the app, such as:

You can disable notifications at any time through Android system settings or the app’s settings screen, if available.
