MadaGlobal Sahod ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is a personal financial management tool that helps users visualize their take-home pay after loan deductions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Everything you enter is stored locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. Specifically:

• Salary information (monthly gross, pay structure) — used to calculate your per-cutoff take-home pay.

• Survival line amounts (rent, food, transportation, and other essentials) — used to determine your financial safety threshold.

• Loan information (lender name, type, amortization, terms, and an optional amount borrowed) — used to calculate deductions and track your repayment progress.

• Simulation parameters (loan amount, term, payment) — used to model the impact of a potential new loan.

• Place names and types — used for geo-aware spending nudges.

• Photos (loan proof, place photos) — kept as personal records for your loan contracts and marked places.

Information Collected Automatically

• Approximate location — collected only when you grant "Location When In Use" permission, and used only around your cutoff days (±1 day) for geo-aware nudges near places you have marked. Accuracy is approximate, not precise GPS, and your location is never transmitted to any server.

• IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) — collected only when you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and used for advertising attribution and analytics. If you decline, a zeroed identifier is used and no personal data is associated with it. Declining does not affect any App feature.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT collect or access your contacts, call logs, or SMS messages.

• We do NOT collect your precise GPS location (approximate only, when permitted).

• We do NOT access your bank accounts, financial institutions, or payment systems.

• We do NOT collect browsing history or app usage from other applications.

• We do NOT require or collect any login credentials, email addresses, or phone numbers.

• Apart from the IDFA described above and Apple's standard iOS frameworks, we do NOT transmit your data to external servers — your financial data remains on your device.

Camera Usage

The App uses your device camera solely for:

1. Photographing loan contracts or repayment notifications as personal proof records.

2. Photographing locations for place marking.

Photos taken within the App are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any third party.

Location Usage

The App uses approximate location data solely for geo-aware spending nudges — gentle reminders when you are near your marked spending locations on sahod (payday) days.

Location data is:

• Only collected when you grant "When In Use" location permission.

• Only actively used on cutoff days (±1 day) via low-power geofencing.

• Approximate accuracy only (not precise GPS).

• Never transmitted to any external server.

• Never stored permanently beyond the session.

• Fully optional — denying location permission disables only the geo-nudge feature; all other App features work normally.

IDFA / App Tracking Transparency

The App requests access to the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. This is used for:

• Measuring advertising campaign effectiveness.

• Attribution analytics.

If you decline tracking, a zeroed IDFA is returned and no tracking occurs. Declining does not affect any App functionality.

Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored locally on your device in an app-private database.

• No cloud storage, no server transmission — your financial data never leaves your phone (see the IDFA section above for the one exception, which contains no financial data).

• iOS Data Protection (Complete Protection level) encrypts your stored data at the operating-system level while your device is locked.

• No account required — the App works without any registration or login.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Data persists as long as the App is installed.

• Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all stored data.

• You can manually export your data as a JSON backup file at any time via Settings > Backup.

• You can import previously exported data to restore your records.

Third-Party Services

Apart from Apple's standard iOS frameworks (including App Tracking Transparency for the IDFA described above), MadaGlobal Sahod does NOT integrate with or transmit data to any third-party services, APIs, financial institutions, or analytics platforms.

Children's Privacy

MadaGlobal Sahod is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above and will be available within the App.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all your data (it is all on your device).

• Export your data at any time (Settings > Backup > Export).

• Delete all your data by uninstalling the App.

• Control permissions (Camera, Location, Notifications, IDFA) via iOS Settings at any time.

Automated Decision-Making

MadaGlobal Sahod uses on-device rule-based calculations to:

• Compute statutory deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, tax) based on published government rate tables.

• Determine traffic light status (green/yellow/red) based on user-configured thresholds.

• Project future take-home pay based on loan repayment schedules.

These calculations are transparent, based on published rules, and performed entirely on your device. No automated models are used for profiling or decision-making that affects your access to financial services.
