1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how HulogTracker ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. HulogTracker helps Filipino employees track their installment payments (hulog) and visualize how much of their salary (sahod) remains as free money (kalayaan) after all obligations.

HulogTracker is designed with privacy-first principles: no account, no server, no financial transactions, and no ad tracking. All core features run entirely on your device.

2. Information We Collect

HulogTracker only stores the following data on your device:

• Salary data you enter: 15th and 30th cutoff take-home amounts.

• Installment (hulog) data: names, amounts, terms, paid terms, source labels, interest rates, notes, bound cutoff dates.

• Safety line preferences: your custom threshold percentage.

• Reminder settings: notification preferences for payment due dates.

• Completed hulog history: records of fully paid installments.

• App preferences: theme settings, sort preferences.

We do NOT collect your real name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or any financial account credentials.

3. How We Use Your Information

Data you enter is used solely to power App features on your device:

• Calculate free money (kalayaan) per cutoff after all hulog deductions.

• Display the Sahod Freedom Bar waterfall visualization.

• Run the "Kaya Ko Pa Ba?" simulator for new installment decisions.

• Render the Cutoff Calendar and Pressure Heatmap.

• Calculate early payoff savings when interest rate is provided.

• Send local notification reminders for upcoming cutoff dates.

• Generate shareable "Payoff Cards" when you complete a hulog.

We do NOT use your data for advertising profiles, credit scoring, financial services, or any purpose beyond the features above.

4. Permissions Required

HulogTracker only requests the following permissions when you first use the related feature:

• Notifications: Used for local payment reminders (3 days before cutoff and on cutoff day). Permission text: Get notified before cutoff so you never miss a payment.

• Camera: Used only to take a photo of a receipt or proof of payment and attach it to a hulog. The photo is stored only on your device.

• App Tracking (IDFA): On iOS you may be asked to allow tracking. The device advertising identifier is used only to measure feature performance. Your hulog data always stays on your device and is never shared.

HulogTracker does NOT require location, contacts, microphone, or network access for your hulog data. All permissions are optional; declining any of them does not affect the core tracking features — receipt photos simply won't be attached.

5. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored only on your device using encrypted local database (SQLite with encryption).

• No data is sent to any server — HulogTracker has no backend server.

• No cloud sync or backup to external servers.

• If your device is lost, damaged, or the App is uninstalled, we cannot recover your data as we do not store any copy.

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, share, or disclose your data to any third party. HulogTracker does not connect to banks, lending platforms, payment processors, or any external service.

The shareable "Payoff Card" feature uses your device's native share sheet — we do not know who receives the shared content.

7. Your Rights

Since all data is stored on your device, you can:

• View all your hulog, salary, and settings data within the App.

• Edit any data you have entered.

• Delete individual hulog records or all data at once.

• Export is not available in v1.0 (planned for future versions).

Uninstalling the App removes all associated data from your device.

8. Cookies and Tracking

HulogTracker does not use cookies, web beacons, or analytics SDKs. On iOS, if you allow tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, the device advertising identifier (IDFA) may be accessed to measure feature performance; if you decline, no IDFA is used. Your hulog data is never shared regardless of your choice.

9. Children's Privacy

HulogTracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if App features change. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. The current version is always available within the App.
