Privacy Policy — Guess It!

This Privacy Policy explains how AMC Innovation ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the mobile game Guess It! (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
The App is operated by AMC Innovation . For any privacy question or request, contact us at mamghar@amgharcompany.com.
2. Summary (the short version)
You can play without creating a personal account — no email, phone number, or password is required. You sign in anonymously.
We collect a display name you choose, gameplay data, friend connections, in‑game chat, and basic technical/advertising data.
We use Google AdMob to show ads, Supabase to run the game backend, and an AI provider (DeepSeek) to power the in‑game AI opponent.
We do not sell your personal data.
You can delete your account and data at any time from inside the App.
3. Information we collect
a) Information you provide
Display name (a nickname you set; you may use a non‑identifying name).
In‑game chat / questions & answers you send during matches.
Friend connections (friend codes you use, friend requests you send/accept).
Feedback you optionally submit.
b) Information created by playing
Anonymous account identifier (a randomly generated ID; not linked to your real identity).
Gameplay data: scores, rating, games played/won, streaks, owned decks, in‑app coin balance, and online/last‑active status (presence).
c) Information collected automatically
Device & technical data: device type, OS version, app version, and diagnostic data needed to run and stabilize the App.
Advertising identifier and ad data: collected by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads (see §6).
c) What we do NOT collect
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, or precise GPS location. The App requests Camera access only to scan a friend’s QR room code, and Notifications permission only to send game alerts; images are not stored and the camera is not used otherwise.
4. How we use information
To provide core gameplay: matchmaking, real‑time 1v1, AI opponent, friends, chat, scoring, and leaderboards.
To show who is online and deliver game invites.
To display and measure ads, and to keep the App free.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and improve the App.
To respond to your feedback or requests.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process data under: performance of a contract (to provide the game you requested), legitimate interests (security, improvement, anti‑abuse), and consent (for personalized ads, collected via Google’s consent prompt). You can withdraw ad consent any time in the App’s privacy options.
6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may collect and use an advertising identifier and limited device/usage data to serve and measure ads. For users in the EEA/UK, we show Google’s consent (UMP) prompt and respect your choice; non‑personalized ads are shown if you decline. 7. Service providers we share data with
We share only what is necessary with:
Google AdMob / Google — advertising and consent management.
Supabase — secure cloud backend (database, authentication, real‑time) that stores your gameplay data, friends, chat, and presence.
DeepSeek — processes in‑game text (your questions/guesses and the secret card) to power the AI opponent and answer validation. This text is sent for real‑time processing to generate a response.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and service.
8. Data retention & deletion
Gameplay data is retained while your account is active.
Abandoned anonymous accounts are automatically deleted after ~30 days of inactivity, including their associated data.
In‑match chat messages are deleted when a room closes/expires.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete account in the App, or by emailing [contact email]. Deletion is permanent.
9. Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for a general audience, including families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described here, and we do not require any personal identifiers to play. Where the App is directed to children or used by users under the age of digital consent, we instruct our ad partner to use child‑directed treatment and serve only age‑appropriate, non‑personalized ads. If you believe a child has provided personal information and you wish to have it removed, contact [contact email] and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use industry‑standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and row‑level access controls on our backend, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
11. International transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located in countries other than yours (e.g., where Supabase, Google, or DeepSeek operate). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Your rights
Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK, California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, use the in‑app Delete account option or contact [contact email].
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
