Privacy Policy
The following Privacy Policy applies to this app (Step Counter) of Burk Apps.
(1) We will collect technical information that may also be personal data (e.g. Internet connectivity, device ID etc.) from your device in order for us to be able to provide the functionality of the Application.
(2) The app saves information such as age, gender, weight which can be set by the user if they want onto the device in which the application is installed. Furthermore the app uses a sensor to count number of steps the user has taken and calculates distance and calories which is then saved on the user device locally.
(3) This application uses Firebase, which is provided by Google LLC. Firebase is used for analytic purpose and we use firebase database to store the score of user in text form. Only the text is saved in firebase. We are using this to make a leaderboard so that users can compete with each other by seeing the score.
Data Deletion:
The information described in Data Section (1) , (2) that is saved to the user's device will be stored until this application is uninstalled from the user's device.
Data Section (3) : User can participate in a leaderboard if they want and they can create a profile which is maintained in firebase database and only score is saved in the form of text in the database. We have provided a delete button on the leaderboard page so if the user wants to delete its profile then he/she can be able to delete all of its score and profile from the database.
We generally do not share personally identifiable information (such as name, address, email or phone) with other companies.
Ad companies may use and collect anonymous data about your interests to customize content and advertising here and in other sites and applications. Interest and location data may be linked to your device, but is not linked to your identity.
