• Audio & Video Data: When you use the "Speech to Text" or "Audio to Text" features, the app processes your voice recordings or uploaded files. This processing is done to provide the transcription service.

• Local Storage: Your transcriptions, speech notes, and history are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your personal recordings or resulting text to our own servers for storage.

• Permissions: The app will request access to your Microphone (for real-time voice typing) and Storage/Media (to upload audio/video files for conversion).

2. Third-Party Services

To provide high-quality speech recognition, translation, and app maintenance, we use third-party tools. These services may collect limited device information:

• Speech Recognition Engines: We may use Google Speech-to-Text or Apple Speech frameworks to process your voice.

• AdMob & Firebase: We use these for displaying relevant advertisements and analyzing app performance (e.g., crash reports and usage patterns).

  • Data collected: Device model, OS version, IP address (for regional ads), and Advertising ID.

3. Data Security

We value your trust. Because your notes and audio files are stored locally on your device, you have primary control over your data. We recommend using device-level security (passcodes/biometrics) to protect your stored transcriptions.

4. Audio & Translation Processing

For our Voice & Audio Translation feature, the audio may be processed through secure third-party translation APIs. This data is processed in real-time and is not used by us to build profiles or for marketing purposes.

5. Children’s Privacy

Smart Voice to Text does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

6. User Control

You can stop all collection of information by the application easily by uninstalling it. You can also manage or delete your transcription history directly within the app's secure storage section.
