This Privacy Policy explains how the Star Path Puzzle mobile application ("Star Path Puzzle", "the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
1. WHO WE ARE
Star Path Puzzle is developed and published by LeanderCreative AB, a company registered in Sweden, acting as the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
a) Data stored only on your device
The app saves your game progress (best completion times per level) and your settings (music, sound effects, and game options) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device,
is not transmitted to us, and is removed when you delete the app.
b) Data collected for advertising and analytics
Star Path Puzzle is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob, and uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK for analytics and advertising measurement. To provide these services, our providers may collect and process certain information, which may include:
- Device identifiers, including the Google Advertising ID (GAID)
- Device information (device type, operating system version, language, and similar technical data)
- General location inferred from your IP address
- Information about your interaction with ads and your use of the app
This information is used to deliver, measure, and (where you have given permission) personalize advertising. The data is processed by Google and Meta in accordance with their own privacy policies.
3. ADVERTISING ID AND DEVICE CONTROLS
On Android, advertising and analytics may use the Google Advertising ID (GAID). You can reset this identifier, or opt out of ad personalization, at any time in your device's settings
under Settings > Privacy > Ads (the exact path may vary by device). Resetting or deleting the advertising ID limits the use of your data for personalized advertising.
4. ADVERTISING CONSENT (UMP)
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain any consent required under applicable privacy laws (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland). Where required, a consent form is shown that lets you choose whether your data may be used for personalized advertising. You can review or change your advertising choices at any time from the in-app "Ad settings" / privacy options, where available.
5. HOW ADVERTISING DATA IS USED AND LEGAL BASIS
Depending on your consent and platform settings, advertising and analytics data may be used to:
- Show ads within the app
- Measure ad and app performance and prevent fraud
- Personalize the ads you see
We do not sell your personal information.
Under the GDPR, we (and our advertising and analytics providers) rely on the following legal bases for processing:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): for personalized advertising and for any access to or storage of identifiers on your device that requires consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time,
as described in Section 9.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): for showing non-personalized (contextual) ads, measuring ad and app performance, and preventing fraud and abuse, in order to fund and maintain a
free app. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object as described in Section 9.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The following third-party services are used in the Android version of the app and may process data as described above:
- Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform — advertising and consent management.
- Meta (Facebook) SDK — analytics and advertising measurement.

These services are controlled by Google and Meta and operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control the data practices of these third parties.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Star Path Puzzle is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. DATA RETENTION
Game progress and settings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Any data processed for advertising or analytics is retained by the relevant provider according to its own retention policies.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to data
portability, and to withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal). You can manage advertising
consent through the in-app ad settings and your device's advertising and privacy settings. For any other request, contact us at the email address below.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Our lead supervisory authority is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), http://www.imy.se. You may also contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this location with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
