This Privacy Policy explains how SmartHabit & Mood Tracker ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information. We are committed to protecting your personal privacy by keeping your data entirely in your own hands.
1. Information Collection and Storage
The App is designed as an offline-first tool. All data you enter remains strictly on your local device:
Habit Data: Names, categories, frequencies, streaks, and completion timestamps.
Mood Data: Mood ratings, tags, entries, and dates.
Preferences: UI themes and app settings.
All records are stored locally using an on-device database (Room/SQLite). We do not maintain external servers, user accounts, or remote cloud profiles.
2. Third-Party Services and Analytics
No Analytics or Telemetry: The App does not integrate third-party tracking software, advertising SDKs, or remote analytics frameworks.
No Network Transmission: The App does not transmit your personal logs, habit records, or mood entries over the internet.
3. Device Permissions
The App requires minimal permissions to operate:
Notifications (Optional): If enabled, the App uses local device alarms to send habit reminders. No notification data is logged or transferred externally.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Because all data resides exclusively in your device's internal storage:
You can edit or delete individual habits and mood records directly within the App at any time.
Clearing the App's storage cache or uninstalling the App will permanently delete all associated databases and records from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13, as no personal information leaves the local hardware.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect future application updates. Any updates will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
