Effective date: October 20, 2026
This policy explains how the Tim Sense Android app ("Tim Sense", "we") handles information. Contact: timvpnsite@gmail.com
Tim Sense has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Everything you create in the app (saved sensitivity profiles, play history and settings) is stored only on your device.
We do not collect, sell or share personal information.
Saved sensitivity profiles and your last generated profile
Play history: which game you played, start and end time, average ping, highest battery temperature, battery used, and a ping and temperature chart for each session
Apps you added to or removed from the game launcher
HUD and crosshair settings (including crosshairs set up for individual games), language and other preferences
This data never leaves your device. If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include these settings in your device backup, which Google stores under your account. Uninstalling the app or using Settings › Reset all data deletes it from the device.
To build sensitivity settings and show the HUD, Tim Sense reads your phone model, screen size, resolution, density, refresh rate, memory, storage, CPU core count, battery level and temperature, and thermal state. These readings are used on the device only and are not sent anywhere.
The game launcher shows apps on your device that can be opened from the home screen, so you can pick your games. Tim Sense reads this list on the device only. It is never uploaded or shared.
The ping test and the HUD measure latency by opening a short connection to public servers (Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 and Amazon Web Services endpoints in several regions) and closing it right away. No data about you is sent in these connections. Like any internet server, those servers see your IP address when the connection is made.
If you turn on "Detect games automatically" and grant usage access, Tim Sense checks which app is in front every few seconds so it can start and end game sessions and show the HUD and crosshair only over games. This check happens on the device; the list of apps you use is not stored beyond the current game session and is never sent anywhere. You can turn it off in Settings and revoke usage access in Android settings at any time.
A share code (TS1-...) contains the settings of one sensitivity profile and the phone model and screen details it was made for, so a friend's app can rebuild it. Tim Sense creates the code on your device; it is only sent if you copy or share it yourself.
The booster asks Android to stop cached background apps to free memory. Android only allows stopping apps that are already in the background; it does not delete any data.
Display over other apps: draws the floating HUD and crosshair on top of games, only when you turn them on.
Foreground service and notifications: keeps the overlay and the game session running while you play, lets you end the session or turn the overlay off from the notification, and tells you when a session ends.
Usage access (optional): automatic game detection, see section 5.
Internet and network state: ping test and latency on the HUD.
Kill background processes: the memory booster.
Do not disturb access (optional): silences notifications during a game session if you turn this on.
Vibration: haptic feedback.
Quick Settings tiles and the home screen widget only switch the HUD and crosshair; they read no additional information.
If you choose to rate the app, Google Play's in-app review screen is shown. Google handles that review under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Tim Sense is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and the policy in the app.
