All operations related to scanning, decoding, and generating QR codes are performed locally on your device. No data ever leaves your device to our servers or any third parties.
2. Permissions
The app requests certain permissions to provide its core functionality:
Camera Permission: Used exclusively for scanning QR codes in real-time. The camera feed is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Storage (Photos and Media) Permission: Used only if you choose to import a QR code image from your gallery for scanning, or to save a generated QR code to your device. The app does not access any other files in your storage.
3. Third-Party Services
The Scana app does not use any third-party services that collect information used to identify you. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
4. Children's Privacy
Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any information, we knowingly do not collect information from children.
