Purrge (“the App”) helps users analyze storage, find unnecessary files, free up space on their devices, and enjoy a gamified experience with a virtual cat who “eats” deleted files. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App may access, how it is used, and how it is stored.

• Google account and Google Drive access, only if you connect Google Drive for backup or file upload features.
• App settings, preferences, virtual cat progress, and achievement data stored locally on your device.

Purrge uses accessed data only to provide app functionality, including:
• Scanning and categorizing files on your device.
• Detecting duplicate, large, temporary, or unnecessary files.
• Helping you remove files and free storage space.
• Showing app usage and storage-related insights.
• Supporting optional Google Drive backup and restore features.
• Running gamification features such as the virtual cat, achievements, and mini-games.
💾 3. Data Storage
Purrge primarily works locally on your device.
• File scan results, app settings, and cat progress may be stored in the app’s private local storage.
• Your files are not sent to our own servers.
• If you choose to use Google Drive features, selected files or backup data are uploaded only to your own Google Drive account.

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your files, app usage data, or personal content with third parties for advertising or resale.
We do not transmit your files or scanned storage data to our own remote servers.
Data may only be shared with services you explicitly choose to use, such as Google Drive for backup and file upload.

• All files access / storage access: to analyze and manage files across your device storage.
• Usage access: to analyze app activity and background usage for optimization features.
• Microphone access: only for optional cat voice interaction features.

• Battery optimization exemption: to help reminders and background tasks work more reliably.
• App visibility and related access: for installed app analysis and management features.
Permissions are used only for the features they support. If you deny a permission, some features may not function correctly.

If you connect Google Drive:
• The App may access your Google account basic sign-in information.
• The App may upload selected files or backup data to your Google Drive.
• Google Drive is only used after your explicit action or if you enable related backup features.

Purrge includes a virtual cat, achievements, and mini-games to make file cleanup more engaging.
These features are optional additions and do not replace the App’s core storage management functionality.

Purrge is not specifically directed to children under 13.
If required by your local laws, children should use the App under parental or guardian supervision.

We take reasonable steps to protect locally stored information within Android app storage boundaries.
